ED-E!  I played Lonesome Road before I got him for some reason, so I thought he was gone for good.  I shed manly tears for my faithful robot companion.

As far as I know, most Fallout crossovers are pretty well recieved.

Sad that the only time I saw ED-E was in a let's play, and that the commentator had lost the save, and many recordings of a previous DLC, and was pretty irritated over it.

To take it shorter:

I think of Fallout Equestria as it's own thing.  Where you see this as another Fallout Equestria fic, I see it as a fic that is more direct crossover between Fallout and My Little Pony.  The hundred other fics you are thinking about are not crossovers between Fallout and MLP as they are fan works of Fallout Equestria.

the quest triggers once ede hears 2 KEY WORDS meeting the people who say them dosent count

the key words have something in common with the enclave and the solar powerplant/ solar based weapon of mass destruction (or whatever the flying fuck you wanna call it) if neither works then the game is glitched

>>14015621401562 lol, ede's companion quest is most likely one of the most time comsuming quests in new vegas and its reward dosent exactly pay for its costs either, but its more of a quest you can drag along as you travel the world and do once you are near by one of the key areas, i swear i was draging around that quest and ede not to long ago all the way from when i first found the bugger on my newest character up until i was lvl 35+

so unless you focus on doing it and nothing else, you gotta like ede a little to much in my opinion

if i remember correctly, once ede hears all the key words, all the recordings have been unlocked, the BoS and the ... (FUCK cant remember what those goodie two shoes are called) if you give ede to the BoS they will give ede a armor and health upgrade while the other party gives a weapon upgrade.

either way this IS a very time consuming quest as it requiers you to wait quite a few ingame days for the recordings, key words and the parties who whant ede's recordings and stored info

Yes, but remember the CMC can't truly understand ED-E beeping so the recordings are his only way to communicate, and they don't know what a human is. So in their minds they could tell for now that one sounded like a mare (Katherine) and the other a stallion (Omega). If I'm in ED-E's pov then I will used the human's terms.

>>14020901402090 Not really time consuming, all you have to do is walk up to The Followers of the Apocalypse, or Brotherhood of Steel person, have a very short dialogue and agree to let them take ED-E for a little while, then get him back. If you hand him over then start one of the DLC missions that he can't accompany you on he'll be ready by the time you finish. Also, the Weapon upgrade is definitely worth it in my opinion. The armor upgrade makes him all shiny and removes his signature bumper stickers and stuff.

Man, I was wondering how you were going to get around the whole "ED-E never speaks human" thing, but you did it brilliantly. I'm starting to really like this story, keep up the good work!
