...I walked inside Blitz's house. After closing the door behind me, I went across the room and sat on the couch. The pony walked to a door, opened it, and pulled out a large object, and had laid it down in front of me. It was a black, 88 key-keyboard. The design didn't look any different from what it was on my originating universe. Blitz carefully adjusted his hoof angle and played up a series of notes, starting on the 'C' note and ending on a 'C' note an octave higher.
"That's called the C major scale."
"Wait...C major?"
I looked over the couch and picked up my guitar. It felt like years since I've last picked one up.
"Here...play the C scale again on the count of 3" I said.
"1...2...3" I counted down as I taped my foot every beat. Blitz and I both played up the C major scale. I was surprised, could the same laws of music theory exist here as it did on earth?
"Wait...Blitz....what notes are you hitting?"
"Just the C major. C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C."
"You mean...your music theory is the same as ours?" I said.
"Uh, I have no idea what you mean by that, but sure."
After some further speculation, music theory was the same. Same 7 letters of the musical alphabet, same time signature understanding, same chord names and shapes, it all fit in perfectly.
"Uh Blitz....how good are you at chords?"
"I have my foundations down and covered..."
Warning: None of this will make sense unless you play an instrument and can read sheet music.
"Alright, play a simple I-IV-V progression." I asked.
"What key?"
"C major."
Blitz then carefully moved his hooves to form the chords in the I-IV-V progression. C, F, and G. It created a simple rock and roll movement.
"Alright, see if you can keep up." I said. I then carefully formed my fingers into a diminished G chord, and begun to play the intro to La Bamba. After the first 2 riffs, Blitz and I immediately began to play along with the proper chords. It was actually fun, we perfectly played with each-other in Sync. We had so much fun that we lost track of time, just playing a long with each other, just making music. The sun was already setting in the background before we both got tired out from playing so much.
"Hey uh Blitz, what time is it?"
"Uh, it's abou-"
"Crap. I'm suppose to have pizza with Lyric tonight!"
"Can't you just tell her that you're having diarre-"
"You honestly want me to sign my own death wish? It's like a 5 minute flight to her place anyway."
"You goin' on a date with h-"
Blitz suddenly shot me a death stare.
"...Never mind." I quietly backed down. One more syllable and I woulda' been bucked into a wall.
"Just...come with me."
"Yeah, yeah" I said. I sat down my guitar and climbed on Blitz's back, to only fall off, face first in the hard wood floor. After a few more attempts I finally mounted on the pony. We went out the front door and flew up into the air, with me hanging on for dear life. The night was extremely chilly, and it didn't help that the cold wind was stabbing me from the flight. I didn't think I'd hold on much longer as I couldn't feel the tips of my fingers. If I were to shed a tear, it would immediately turn into an ice cycle that could easily kill a man...er horse..pony..what ever.
After what seemed like an eternity, we finally landed at a smaller wooden cottage. Blitz trotted up to the front door and knocked his hoof on it a couple of times. After waiting a few minutes...no answer. Blitz and I went back around the cottage and peered into a window. The lights were off, and not a sign of life inside. Blitz began to wonder,
"Where could she be? I was suppose to meet her fo-"
Suddenly there was a blood hurdling scream coming from the forest around us. Blitz suddenly got a look of fear struck across his face. Without hesitation, he charged into the forest toward the screams, with me flogging up and down like a flag in the wind, trying to hold onto his tail. He ran down a path filled with trees that have been snapped off by some, powerful force. Suddenly Blitz stopped dead in his tracks, flinging me into a near-by tree. I winced in pain and fell...once again, face first into the dirt.
I stumble to get up, then began to lock eyes on Blitz. He was starring at something that was in-front of him. I immediately noticed a pale grey pony with a black su-
FUCK NO. NOT AGAIN.
It was the one slender pony. Tentacles flailed in the air, and in their clutches was an unconscious Lyric. She was still alive, but for god knows how long. Suddenly the whole scenery of the forest backdrop melted away, and once again returned the same old electric, demonic bass sound. But this time, it was all black instead of white. It was just me, the slender pony, Blitz, and the unconscious Lyric. The slender pony just stood there, starring right at Blitz, who was still starring back into the slender pony's non-existent face. The slender pony suddenly stopped looking at Blitz, and slowly and creepily turned its head at me. Now my eyes were locked onto that horrifying face.
Blitz suddenly took a step forward, his clop blasted loudly and echoed through out the area. The slender pony suddenly turned back at him, and within a blink of an eye, a mystical forced blasted Blitz backwards into a wall, so hard that he got knocked out from the blow. Just leaving me...and it.
Not saying a word, I began to slowly step backwards, until I stepped into some type of depression in the ground. I instantly lost my footing and fell backwards, hitting a wall. The slender pony put down Lyric, and slowly made its way toward me with it's tentacles whipping in the air. It inched closer and closer, having me fall deeper and deeper into cold, hard, fear. I wanted to pass out right there and not witness any horrifying events that would kill me, but my brain refused and remained conscious. With suddenly a flash of a bright, red light, everything was gone.
