Old ass user, probably never finishing my stories cause they suck. If i like something of yours it's probably pretty damned good.

I just had to write this story, the idea wouldn't go away. I think a clever soul should be able to figure out where the inspiration came from.

Now, this is far from my "first fanfic", so feel free to be anything but gentle with it. However, try to understand that this story was supposed to be stripped down and somewhat barren. The lack of detail and repetitive phrasing are intentional, I assure you. If you don't like that style, then by all means, comment about it. Just know that it's not supposed to be... Ordinary.

Okay, the concept of a story intentionally devoid of lots of description catches my interest, since description is something I have trouble writing. Adding this to the list of over 75 fanfics I gotta read. :pinkiecrazy:

I like it, short as it may be. The only thing that bugs me about it is that it's written in the present tense rather than the traditional past tense. Other than that, it was rather good.

"The Unknown" my favorite story topic.

That was... odd.

1325393 It's the only piece I've ever written in present tense. Pretty experimental.

1325413 Ambiguity ahoy!

1325471 I had to take a break from my other stuff, considering that both my fics in progress are approaching their climaxes. It's a little bit daunting, and coming slowly. With Wildfire I plan on releasing two or possibly even three chapters in quick succession. We'll see what happens this week... I'm rambling. What did you think of this piece?

The characterizations were good, especially the lack of intimacy.
One thing, if the snow was that deep, wouldn't it be compact enough to not fall into the house?
Also... where are the weather teams?

I kinda felt "Meh." but that might be lack of sleep as much as anything else.

1325712 I'm not an expert on snow mechanics, but in my head it was like, the surface is frozen solid, but underneath it's still fluffy. Anyways, this fic can easily be ruined by logic. Stupid logic. There are several plot holes, of which you've found one. Probably, I could have just deponified my story idea and made a much better version. It's not super-relevant to FiM. I just prefer having characters that we're already familiar with.

I think the weather team screwed up. Big time.

This is very eerie. But it's complete? :duck:

1329574 I've no plans to expand on it. I wrote a spiritual successor that really has nothing in common with this fic except the "sad" tag, and I might release that. But now I'm back to focussing on my serial stories, so this fic won't be continued.

1325309 dude i got like 602 stories to read in the near future. one of em is dis one. lol too much?

1486027 Well, "near future" is a pretty subjective term. If you plan to read six hundred fics in the next week, it might be an issue. If you mean in the next six months, that's a little more doable.

1486027 It's grown since. I got over two hundred, and about a hundred of those are 50,000 words or more. NaPoWriMo, man. Anyway, I've started now, but I probably won't finish before November. :trixieshiftleft::trixieshiftright:

1486146 i kept most fics on phone so yeah.... i read on the go unlike the last sched of mine. 12mid to either 3 or 5am(note: weekdays so that means school) had to fight being sleepy in class.

Wow. Kinda spooky fic, really, but really nice. I like the neutral tone--almost like the story's being told through the blizzard. All emotion is lost to the roar of the storm and the white of the snow, leaving just silhouettes. Not to get pretentious poet on you. :raritywink:

1935741 Oh don't worry darling - this is oh so pretentious. It's postmodern and tries a little too hard to be ambiguous. Some might say I was throwing shit at a wall with this story, hoping it would stick. But I'm glad you liked it!

1935741 Oh, and read some of my other stories. :pinkiehappy:

Wouldn't air be an issue for everyone under all that snow? It's a good thing that fire didn't last very long. :rainbowderp:
