Nice work on this. Vaati is probably my second favorite Zelda villain behind Ghirahim. (I love that guy's dialogue!) Vaati, of course has more depth to him because he's been in more games. (Minish cap was a great game)

Not really fond of Ghirahim, for reasons I'll keep to myself. I didn't think much of Vaati after I first heard of him, but after I got Minish Cap, the guy kinda grew on me. My favorite villain's Majora because of his vague backstory and extremely frightening sadism.

Don't get me wrong. Majora's Mask is my Zelda favorite game. I've just never really considered Majora that big a villian. (I'd LOVE to see more background on it though - and maybe a comeback too.) Sure. The mask brainwashed and controlled the skull kid to destroy Termina, and spread chaos amongst its residents one way or another. But aside from that, you don't actually do much aside from freeing the giants to counter and then fight its incarnation until the endgame. The sheer depth and intricacy of the game itself is what makes MM the masterpiece it is. I'd definitely rate Majora over Ganondorf though.

I'd love to see Vaati make a comeback. He's pretty darn wicked and I LOVE his theme. I'm actually replaying Minish Cap atm on my 3DS. I know I beat the game, it's just been so long that I don't remember absolutely everything about it.

I can understand not liking the guy. Ghirahim is freaking weird - and also overly "FABULOUS". I just found his witty dialogue and overly eccentric (yet cruel) actions more entertaining (I laughed pretty hard at a few of his lines) and refreshing than Ganondorf's "Hurrr imma capture the princess, laugh manically, assemble the Triforce, and take over Hyrule" shtick. He pretty much got more depth to him in one game than Ganondorf did in his many appearances combined.

Skyward Sword is certainly not the best Zelda game ever - but a lot of its mechanics (and its soundtrack!) are brilliant. (Also, Fi is infinitely worse than Navi. BY FAR. I'd rather have Midna or Tatl)

Minish cap was my gateway zelda game, my love for the series is only rivaled by pony and Doctor Who.

This story is one of the few on this site that intrigues me. Your grammer is impeccable, and the stories are well thought out, particularly this one, which seems to be an original from the actual series. I am hopeful for confrontations between Vaati and/or Discord and Chrysalis in this story's future, the new [anti]hero versus two of My Little Pony's most powerful villains. Plus, I see no foreseeable yaoi, which pleases me to no end!

Human in Equestria story involving Vaati.  A lot more words per chapter than is usual for HiE stories.

I have to criticize you on how closely you're sticking to the original episodes.

It shows a lack of originality and it's incredibly boring to read what is essentially the script to something everyone here has already read.

Its skin was deathly pale, and the long hair growing out of its head lavender.

This is a really good story, the premise alone intrigued me. I look forward to more chapters.

You have the valid point, but if I can play Gannon's Advacate, Chapter 1 and 4 are in my opinion  the best of the (current) bunch. My resioning is this: Chapter 1 sets teh story up, introducing Vaati to Equestria. Chapter 4 is a product of the author's plotline instead of an episode with Vaati.

THe story is pretty good, but in my opinion it woul dbe better if you made more chatpers like 4.

Ok, this is an interesting character to use. I'm liking this story.

I'm loving Vaati. He is mildly sarcastic(taking life seriously when you are as old as he gets boring), he's distant and cold, but the seeds of Friendship have been planted. He is also wise and just a little evil. Just a little.

Well, the whole point of this story is to see how Vaati would react to certain episodes. Granted, some will stick close to the original script, but others will significantly deviate from that original script. Plus there will be new episodes that weren't part of the TV show, like Episode 4. I think you're all going to like the Discord/Vaati interaction.

Best crossover fic I've ever read

This story is very well done my friend, so I have to congratulate you on that note. Though there is one problem I've seen. Vaati had that strange sword that was a cross between a sword/staff which he used to summon the helmerok in one of the Four Swords games. It was also his humanoid form's weapon of choice in that game. Does he still possess the Sorcerer's Sword? (Calling it that because of the fact it's a sword with a staff's upper half for the grip.)

It's made of pressurized wind magic filtered through a gem. I believe said gem was a fragment of the old Picori Blade. He didn't have it in the Minish Cap due to the fragments weren't collected yet. If I remember the explanation that sword was the one that created the Black Tunic link in the Four Sword's games. An evil fifth Four Sword. The darkness that was drawn out when it was purified and left behind.
