The CMCs have grown on me as time has gone on, and I enjoyed this. I wasn't sure at first whether I liked the switches to and from first person, but by the end I'd decided that it worked for me. One or two minor typos (eg "twice it's previous size") but they didn't take anything away from the story. Reminiscent of the show itself, and I like that.

I can't believe anybody bothered to read this after so long. I worked quite hard on it (much harder than Storm) and it's my least viewed work, so people commenting on this wams my heart.
When it died on EqD, it had 75 rates compared to Storm's 175. And the fandom had tripled in size between postings. So thanks again!

You're welcome! I'm still very new to this fandom (two months ago, I hadn't seen a single minute of the show) so I'm making a conscious effort to explore a bit. I don't want only to read the latest and/or most famous stories. This is by far the largest and fastest-growing fandom I've been a part of, so I'm still feeling my way, but I like the idea of stumbling upon something I had no idea even existed and finding I like it. In another, considerably smaller, fandom where I'd achieved some measure of recognition I got mildly disappointed myself with a pretty decent -- but fairly old -- story being ignored by most people in favour of shiny new stuff. (Negative reviews are fine by me. No reviews at all, less so!)

Storm was posted in May of 2011, Chancing in July I think. I was very disappointed in how few people read it compared to Storm.

Even after Twilight's List made me fimfic famous for a week, people still avoided this one. I'm not sure why. It's always been the least viewed of my fic. I guess the description isn't "fun" enough.
