The Diamond Dogs have returned and have captured Spike and all the ponies except for Rarity to make them work as slaves to find diamonds in their new domain, Mud Fortress. Rarity must brave the filthy wasteland before her and make it to Mud Fortress to rescue her friends. But will she be able to when Mud Fortress is full of…well, MUD?!

Man, I can't even tell you how badly I've wanted to see a fic like this. Seriously, there needs to be an episode where Rarity does something like this. She's always seemed like the type who would lay her life down for her friends if it ever came to that (well, they all seem like they would do that, but Rarity in particular) and I can so buy that she would go through something like that for them. I hope one of these days she gets her kick ass hero moment in the show, but until then, this fic was great way to hold me over. Thank you for writing it, it made my day!
