Blazing Spark is a magical and supernatural consultant who occasionaly works for the royal guard on their more... stranger cases. He awakes to begin his normal morning routine, he had not had a lot of work recently and was beginging to wonder where his next rent payment would come from.

Blazing Spark goes about his morning duties until he finds a letter written by Shining Armour no less summoning him to the gates of Tartarus. Quickly he leaves, as soon as he arrives he begins to notice something isn't right, Shining Armour and his sister Twilight Sparkle are both pressent the the gates, as well as a squadron of royal guard.

princess Celestia  escorts Shining Armour, Twilight sparkle and Blazing Spark into a privet room where they are informed that a evil, dark creature called Cipher has escaped from its imprisonment. If it is not stopped it will throw Equestia into an eternal oblivion.

Blazing Spark is tasked with investigating any clues that may indicate where Cipher may be hiding, this simple task grows and grows untill Spark finds that the fate of Equestia... no the entire world lies in his hooves.
