You know, I wonder why it's always RD writing in these stories.  I've seen one fic painting Fluttershy as a writer of trashy romance novels, and of course there's Derpy in Young Colts, Tight Bondage and Twilight with Naked Singularity, but that's about it.  One fic each of three other ponies.

I wouldn't mind seeing what Applejack or Rarity or Pinkie would write.

I forget the name of it at the moment, but I have seen one where Applejack writes a fictional story, and Twilight edits it for her, only to end up pissing off Applejack by correcting all of her mistakes, thus AJ takes it badly and does bad stuff to Twilight like sell her sour apples before Big Mac comes and straighten it out by forcing AJ to apologize, where in return Twilight also apologizes for criticizing her friend's work too harshly... or something along those lines.

She's a hardcore fan of the Wonderbolts and Daring Do, giving her two things to write fan fics about (usually the latter).  And her self fixation would make her likely to add a Mary Sue, which is the easy choice for some humor.  A bunch of the RD writing stories are also RD+Twi ships, where RD chooses to write as a way of getting her feelings through to Twi, and those again tend to play on Daring Do, an interest they share.

Also, there's another one where RD and Twi compete to see who can write the best fan fic, with the randomly chosen category winding up being Romance.  And that one ends with Rarity deciding to try her hoof at romance novels.

This story was meh.
