Ten years. Ten years was all it took for Fluttershy's life to fall apart. She's living alone, her friends are farther than distant, her one and only love is married to another mare with kids, and she's been practically forgotten by the entire world. She's wondering if life is really worth it, if she would ever get her happy ending.
But life, apparently, has a very twisted sense of humor. All it took was one day to push her over the edge.

I know this story is very, very different from what I usually write. The inspiration for this story came from my own life that hasn't been agreeing with me lately. Here's hoping to things get better.

Wow, this is seriously the saddest story I've ever read in my life (well, asides from MLD). I loved everything about this; the story was VERY well-written, it never got jumpy or hard to understand, and 1st Person View Narrative of Fluttershy was just amazing (strong emotions, personality). I just wish there was a little more closure, like details on how she went (its gotta be something poetic though).
