Luna has this habit. It's the kind of habit that she'd be far too embarrassed to tell a soul about. It's the kind of dirty little secret that would be completely misunderstood and  ruin one’s reputation if it got out...

We all have our guilty pleasures right?

It was obvious. One-shots with these kinds of twists are very common on this site.

HAH! Moonpies. I don't even know what they are. Actually, I do. They suck.

How does she like those things?

Oh, and the story was good. Sounds familiar, though. Like the time Twilight went to the Dentist for the first time.

Why is it always Princess Luna that fic-writers show as being obsessed with newfangled sweets? I mean yeah, she was on the moon for 1000 years, but why no other pony? I still liked this story; it's funny.

On a side note: I'm surprised that the twist was so obvious to everyone. I saw it coming a mile away, sure, but I see that in a lot of one-shots that are featured. I thought people wouldn't have predicted it. Maybe I should have given the community's intelligence more credit. :twilightblush:

Now now. It's a good story, don't get me wrong.

    I'm glad you liked it.

There are, however, a lot of very similarly worded and deceptive tales that this is certainly a product of.

The writing in this, mind, is much better than most. Puts it up in the higher echelon. Also proves who the more popular princess is too - I don't think Celestia would garner this much fanfare.

As Hitchcock said, "There is no terror in the bang, only in the anticipation of it."

That we know, or at least have a good idea of, what is going to happen doesn't take away from the story as long as the writer still manages to leave us waiting, wanting, needing to actually hear the gun go off.

    Says that user named, "Brutalassmaster."

No, but, really... The topic of the story is actually quite obvious. It is a question that has plagued the brony community since the very first season. Each time our beloved ponies appear, we ask ourselves this question, though we do not ask each other. It is a shameful thing, it would seem, to share this secret question with each other, let alone other people. It eats away at us, gnawing at our gray matter, begging to be answered. It is the question that keeps you up at night, that challenges all your thoughts and feelings, that makes you go outside for a walk in the night time to decide just what kind of person you truly are...

Totally saw this coming. My guess was either eating Moon Pies or dancing in a tutu (guessed from the cover pic). Reminds me of the story called "Royal Regalia", in which the line was blurred because a soldier had the same coat color as Celestia, and was caught wearing her jewelry. Celestia told him to take it off, so the story described that in vivid detail, but failed to mention that the fur underneath belonged to the guard. O lol.

While completely enjoyable, and very fun to read, the ending was like a giant ant tormenting a sugar cellar in a remote smugglers town. As my GM said when I rolled for a reaction save, I could see it coming like an M. Night Shayamalan plot twist.

As I said, though, it was still a good story.
