I guess there were many things going on with Shining Armor during this whole affair as well. I wrote him off as a douche-bag when I read Forbidden Fruit, but now I can kind of sympathize with his anger, or at least see where he's coming from.

A good introduction for a side story, focusing on Shining Armor's side of the story as well as showing us that things weren't as it seem. Once again like your main story i'll be looking forward as this story continues. Hope things turns out well to your liking.

Nice to see that you have an update towards Original Sin and your other story, I really enjoy reading both of them very much. Anyhow I have one question:

Funny how I spend those days. But despite still feeling betrayed and torn, I decided to go catch up with some old friends. It was not easy trying to find ponies you used to hang out with before you were enchanted by a princess.

So if Shining Armor suspects fowl play, then how come he doesn't bother to dig deeper with anyone, like Princess Celestia or Twilight Sparkle, if he really did get enchanted? But besides that, really good job man. Keep up the good work, best regards

This is way too confusing. I can't imagine shining armor just lunging "out" of one relationship into another. It's not clear that he knows anything for certain, and it seems like he really ought to question whether his present feelings are: real, a backlash from chrysalis' spell, or simply because his marriage isn't going well.  I think he needs to hear Cadence out on this, maybe have a chat with someone else than his family (Luna, maybe?) and apologize to his former fiancee at least so he doesn't feel so bad about the results. Rushing out to give back all the gifts makes no sense if he's not actually divorced. Also, it seems a bit out of character for Celestia to be sending him a bill for the wedding. This is Equestria after all, not England or some real world monarchy.

There's some to be some potential for a fairly interesting story so far.

Maybe I misunderstood somewhere. Where did this story split from canon? Was there a changeling involved here or not?

Not to mention I see that she might be involved in this deeper, considering that she is her Sister, was the one videotaping and taking pictures, and is very likely the one who leaked it all out to the press in order to hurt shining and cadenza.

Wow I did not see that revelation at the end coming up I must say this will not go well for candence much less how twilight will take it.
