Milk Mind

T

Important: there are a lot of deleted comments, they were all part of a very long conversation that didn't belong here.

Aliens have been sighted on and around Earth for centuries. But a single description keeps popping up in history. Four legs, big eyes, and a unique mark on the hind legs. The first real proof was in April of 1947. Ever since then there have been reports sprinkled throughout the decades. But now one has been captured alive, and an old military base has been re-purposed to hold them. People were right about aliens, but they got one thing wrong. They're not from the stars, they're from Special Camp number 2.

Heh, ok. You directed me to this from your Colt 2 story, and it honestly restored my faith in you as a writer. This character barely has a line of dialogue, and yet there is a very definite tone to this Stacwolt's thoughts. I like it. You should have written Colt while you were on whatever happy pills you took to write this baby. Out of curiosity, is Stacwolt an actual German name, or did you make it up? It looks made up, and google is less than helpful on the matter. Anyway, back on track. The prose can ramble a little, but it kinda helps here, because it shows his personality really quite well, without him even having to be 'on screen' so to speak. I especially liked the 'because that's a good idea' comment on Cold War era USA procedures. This is a character I can empathise with, I guess, because while his thought processes are not always laid out on paper, they... bleed through via the observations and such. It really works quite well, and it honestly makes me wonder why you wrote Colt the way you did, when you can do this... It's certainly not high art and all, but it's interesting and quite engaging. Some of the intro work was a little bit dull, but for the most point Stacwolt's little interjections and comments break it up nicely. Good job mate.

Deleted almost all the comments because it was just one very long, very old discussion that did not belong here.
