Great characterization with Rarity and her parents, I can't wait to read the rest of this. You continue to impress me with your ability to write stories that feel like believable episodes of both My Little Pony and Doctor Who, and I say this as someone who is a big enough fan-dweeb about both things to have added to the TV Tropes for them.

I rather enjoy the differences between Rarity and her parents, and I like the way she finally snapped at Talk Down. She's better than I, I would've snapped much earlier. Either way, a good beginning to the story.

There's one thing I just don't get: why did you continue the series when you haven't even completed "Traveler"?  I think you should finish that before continuing this story.

Please allow me to clarify. Number 12 and Traveler are both by Squeak-anon, who has graciously given me permission to branch off of his stories into a separate continuity while he focuses on his audio-plays, which can be heard on Celestia Radio and Youtube. My series and his continuing series share the same roots, but diverge after the events of Traveler. While I took some vague liberties with the 'as of yet unpublished' ending of that fic, The Pinkie Conundrum was given full approval by Squeak before it was posted almost a year ago.

Haha! Well I'll take that as a yes. You're probably rather busy with ficitry and such, but write up a script when you can and we'll produce it when we have available resources (Normally released directly after episodes, so probably after this crossover business is done). The word limit for a short episode is 1500, if you MUST then 2000 but try to aim under those numbers. Goodnight shorts are written by me alone, but the Doc, Pinkie Pie and Twilight are all fair game. We haven't included the mane six in canon so they're not involved at this point, and it must be written in script format:

There's just one thing that doesn't sit right with me: “I didn’t ‘come along’, I was shanghaied by the TARDIS, remember?” I'm surprised "shanghaied" is in Twilight's vocabulary, considering the word's origins lie from the real city Shanghai. Wouldn't the term in Equestria be some sort of pony equivalent? I know it's a really nitpicky thing, but I noticed it instantly.

This series needs to be a real thing. SOMEBODY GET SOME ANIMATORS ON THIS SHIT!

I'm also wondering, could the said puppetmaster be secretly messing with the Tardis? like, programming it behind everyone's back to send the ponies where and when he/she'd want?

Hey L2L, just wondering, what's your stance on Spike/Rarity?

Personally, I am not a fan of Rarispike for 2 reasons. The first being the obvious age difference (in my head at least, Rarity is around 20 (21 my stories) and Spike is 10 or 11. Obviously, this is an issue. Secondly: It's too obvious a ship. While Rarity might find his affections sweet, I just find it hard to swallow that such a relationship could be taken seriously.

Now me personally, I like Spikebloom. Aside from being more compatible in terms of age, I just think that Applebloom and Spike look cute together. Some might state Sweetie/Spike... but I can't accept that because all I can think of is...

AWESOMENESS!!!!!! i cant STAND cliffhangers especially in something i love, AUTO fave and watch, but im gona hold off on reading until its complete just like i did along came a spider. The best Doctor Whooves fanfiction is the stuff by intelligent writers who are die-hard fans of both shows. Pinkie's antics in this one kept me laughing. I'm curious as to how her "aliens" are gonna factor into the story, as well as what the TARDIS's mysterious motives are regarding Twilight.
