Spike has been abandoned by his friends at the Grand Galloping Gala. While wandering the halls of Canterlot Castle, he finds himself stumbling upon a peculiar pony.

(Originally Written As A One-Shot)
Spike's Luna was meant to be a short one-shot, but as I began writing it, I realized it was going to be much longer than anticipated. It should be about two-three chapters in total. It is a short story. :) I just wanted to tackle another shipping that I believe isn't explored as much as it should be. Oh, and 'Selena' refers to "selene", which means "moon" in Greek. Everything else that has not been explained will be in coming installments. Thank you for any comments. They push me forward.

I wouldn't do that. This story does have a short story feel, so I agree with his keeping it short. Hopefully though, it is on the upper end of 2-3.
I can agree with one to two chapters, this is the episode where Spike would be eatting dounts but insteadfound Luna who lied to hi about who she really is, hat can't be helpfu for romance, and for some reason I wish to see a Spike/Pinkie Pie next, not sure why though and also Malla, can you either tone down on the fancy words or teach us how you write in such a matter, I read more book then should be possible and yet I never really read someone's story who speaks so....fancy, you know? I'll be awaiting more bro, peace.

I don't know how you do it, but you manage to take the pairings that I've always wanted to see happen and make them better than imagined. I've been waiting for someone to write a SpikexLuna and yours is awesome. I've got to wonder what other Spike pairings might you have planned for the future.

Spike is one of my favorite characters, sharing the spotlight with Trixie. However if I had to list to anypony a 3rd place favorite pony I'd say Luna. I like the mystery that surrounds her. This is a great story, and I agree that it would be hard to make this a one shot without it being lengthy.

Well, this is pretty good. The only problem is with... Damn, it's hard to say.... The words themselves. While the composition and grammar is entirely correct and there's absolutely no problem whatsoever, it's a bit difficult to read for some reason. Some words just seem out of place, or like anouther one would be better. I guess it's like comparing Byron to Dr. Seuss, in a way.

Well, that was definitely a fun read! I was totally stoked when I first saw that you working on this story, and I wasn't disappointed! I'm pleasantly surprised that you're expanding it by a few chapters.
This was definitely a cute chapter, and I find it funny that how Spike doesn't know it's Luna yet. Or does he? I don't know, but it would be a fun twist. Good to see that Spike is getting her to loosen up a bit early and the next chapter or two should be fun to read!
I've always been a fan of Spike pairings, particularly unusual and uncommon ones such as this, so I'm glad to see more fics about them.

I like the story, but I have to say the writing feels like you're using words that are more advanced than your comfort zone, and it comes off as extremely awkward rather than eloquent. I have to admit, as much as I enjoy the story, that kind of pulls me out of the story and makes it too difficult for me to read through the whole chapter. Not that one shouldn't expand one's vocabulary, but it might be better if you wrote a bit more in your comfort zone, adding only a few new words at a time to get used to how they're used before throwing them out willy-nilly.

What you have before you is a display of how I compose, so if you're bothered, then that is your own preoccupation. I enjoy the variety in vocabulary, and I feel every word should have its day in being presented to the public. All words are beautiful, and the one time I actually ommitted one from Spike's Rainbow Dash was when I had decided not to use one of my most favorite: pulchritudinous. You see, I adore "pulchritudinous", which is defined as a physically attractive individual. Alas, I understood many were ignorant of its existence, and inevitably I was forced to bury it in its undeserved tomb for another day.
I will not cease my actions nor will I change my style, fellow reader. For I have been given permission, by the words themselves, to hone their vitality.
