Recollections of an Ordinary School Teacher by electreXcessive

Slice of Life

Cheerilee has always told everypony that her cutie mark represents her love for teaching, and her desire to help future generations grow and develop. How exactly did she come to realize her special talent though? A personal epiphany? An epic adventure? A tragic accident? After another failed experiment, the Cutie Mark Crusaders decide to ask Cheerilee for advice on how to obtain theirs; Cheerilee relays a tale of how she discovered her love for teaching, and the mare she knew she would be. (One Shot)

A simple story about how one serene moment can change our whole outlook on life and what we know about ourselves. Inspired after reading Pinkie Watches Paint Dry while sitting on my porch and looking at the rose bushes on my front lawn. I guess that's what happens when you contemplate life while observing nature's beauty.

That was a really good story. Everypony seems to be in character. so that's a good thing, and overall pretty good.

I think this was really well written, and i can FEEL the effort you've put into writing this story. Its nice to see a fanfic thats centered on narrative and not constant action and adventure for a change. :twilightsmile: Keep it up 'cause you've just earned a new follower!

Very well written story. I never knew you had this much creativity in your psyche. Definitely continue writing stories and you'll only get better than you are now.

I'll be honest with you....

I'm still new to the whole phenomenon which is the ever-so-cool "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" franchise but even I can appreciate such as well thought out and well written story such as this one.

It was short, sweet and straight to the point, making it feel like it could be part of a series of small animated stories officially released on the actual TV show. It is THAT GOOD.

I don't care what they say.... you ARE now "20% Cooler". ;)
