Down vote on account of the fact there is no "new" main six, just barely fleshed out canon-characters that may as well be OCs.

Everything will link back to canon, but im making this in a sequential style with new characters that are different from how they were portrayed in seasons 1 and 2. and im making 25 more and a season 2 with about 25 episodes. I wont delete your comments or dislike your critisism, but i think your setting my bars to define it to be similar to MLP:FiM. My goal is very different and will go in its own direction, but for now im setting the roots of the story, and 1800 words is very low, each episode from now should be about 4-5000+ words, but i will continue to write in multiple POV, thank yuo for reading my series!

...You are attempting to create a "new generation" fic. By definition of the genre you are asking to be compared to the original series. I just find what you are doing so far to be lacking in cohesion and honestly this strikes me as WAY to ambitious for a first fanfic, without SERIOUS hand holding by a veteran accomplished beta and some time for yourself to practice writing and improve your prose.

nah its fine :P ive already got the whole season planned out, i just have to write it. ill probably upload a new episode every day to every other day.

but on a side note, MLP:FiM is to cover friendship and such

MLP:MaM is to let me bend characters to my will and while i write a good story with the plot all planned out. I purposely picked these characters so as to not imitate the first mane6 at all.

the first episode is to introduce characters, leave things out on purpose, show conflicts to be resolved, while still having a story to follow and grow up with. my characters arent perfect nor are they particularly likable. Theyre meant to be somewhat realistic while following canon guidelines, also my writing style is in multiple POV
