I know, I know.
I've had Writer's Block on my fics in general for well-over two months. I think what's causing it is the lack of mindset. When I start writing a fic from any area of entertainment, I generally drench my brain in it for more than 24 hour's worth of total time. I haven't been watching the cartoon in awhile, so it's probably affecting my ability to focus on it.
I just haven't had the time or been in the mood for it, though. I work in retail, so when I get off work I am more in the mood for playing a shooter and forgetting reality exists for awhile. Sure, I visit the site almost every day, but reading a fanfic and watching the cartoon as two separate things.

Oh, I've got a general idea of what I want to do already. It's just the filler I need to work out. Like I said before, Rarity will get loose, and I came up with an idea how earlier this morning, but it's the working-up-to that is stalling me. That and I don't live alone and it would be rather an awkward situation if one of the others took a look at what I was writing while I'm AFK.

normally my folks don't care what I write and pay almost no attention to it (though when I first started my mother expressed brief interest in it and went no further than that) other than to say I should try and use it to make money (I've tried. I keep losing focus on it. It's like I'm hitting a wall.) However, if they found out that I wrote porn more than once and some of what it entails...well, it wouldn't be pretty.

I wrote another one previously that was only centered around Dawn and Tomodatchi, and was inspired by a bit of dirty fan-art for the fic from which it originated, but Dawn was also a bit older in that one. I'm still not sure whether to feel proud of what I wrote, or ashamed.
