I don't know to me it feels like Shining Armor is being made to look incompetent in order to make Waka look good.  In fact Shining getting worfed in order to make other characters look good is something of a trend lately.

I hated that fight, not what happened in it the mini cutscenes were awsome, but the bosses themselves. But that is just me.
