Didn't go to any panels, actually. And I didn't tell anyone that I was going because up until that week, I had no clue I was going. A fan of my story said he found cheap tickets and a cheap room and asked if I was interested. Since I needed to get the fuck out of my house, I said sure. There weren't any writers in any of the panels that I had even heard of and I didn't need any of the services they were offering, so I didn't bother stopping by any of them.

I did post in my comments that I was there, though. I didn't expect anyone to actually see it, but a few people did.

You missed alot of fun, all the top names were there, not all of them on panels, but most of them hanging out and talking shop. You and your story is still a legend among us as the longest running fic, and one that has many fans. Yea, you were mentioned at many of the conversations.

If you go next year, we definitely gotta hang out, we woulda loved to have you around. Myself, I had dinner across from the guy that wrote Past Sins, and got trashed and talked shop with half the top writers of FiMFiction. Hell, you coulda totally made it onto a panel, with your infamy. There should be a panel next year on long running fics. Many folks can barely get a dozen chapters out without crashing and burning, or ragequitting the story. Some pointers on maintaining integrity would be awesome.
