It's ok, Nav has a slightly holy sword that is elementally ice-aligned. So as long as he doesn't go against steel, fire, water or ice demons, he should be okay. Plus he should have an advantage against poison, rock, grass and dragon demons, three of which are major phenotypes in demons across most mythologies.

Unless he's up against straight-up true Fae or ghosts like back in the bunker. Then we might have a problem.

Honest perspective: I found the beginning of the story almost unbearable, and hated the main character. I almost stopped reading several times.
That said, if you can stick with it past chapter 15, you will absolutely not regret reading this.
Among all the stories I track this is definitely in my top 3 most anticipated for updates.

I love that this story updates often enough that I dan't have to constantly go back and re-read the entire thing to remember what's going on. In the future though when it is complete I will set aside a fortnight to sit and read the entire thing again in one sitting.

I've heard this a lot (even after I edited the first fifteen or so chapters).

Did navarone bring a crucifix with him back from the future, if not, then maybey one of the water elementals is made of holy water.

I've said this or something similar to most of the recent chapters, but fucking hell that was fantastic. This chapter was better than a lot of the ones in the story even though there wasn't really all that much happening. Sure they got out of Africa finally but nothing really big happened. What did happen was a lot of brilliant comedy and fun conversation.
I'm sure I've said this on most of the new chapters too, but this is now one of my new favorite chapters.
I know that this story will one day be completed, and that will probably be a sad time, but until then all we can do is enjoy the ride and be thankful that we were able to be on it in the first place. Thank you, whatmustido, for all that you have done.
