    Impossible Numbers's Stories (16)

Apple Bloom, inspired by her comics, suggests that the Cutie Mark Crusaders should become spies, but Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle don't think much of the idea. This is Equestria, for Celestia's sake; a land where happiness is the default setting, and the word "enemy" is so rarely used it needs a good dusting.

But it seems that Apple Bloom's suggestion is timely; when weird events start occurring around Ponyville, it looks like they'll soon be up to their ears in mysteries. And who knows just how far they will have to go to unravel them...

Good story. Enjoying the snarky writing style. Like that Scootaloo has limited flight ability.

Interesting chapter. You had Scootabuse that wasn't, Applejack as the unhinged one...

Couple things bugged me during the treehouse scene. What was hot pink? How did it resemble a gay pride movement? Also Scootaloo's forelock (front of mane) is purple (fuchsia) not orange. If you meant fetlock, that is orange and you are strange.

Hi, guys. Thanks for the encouraging comments. It's great to see people enjoying the story. :twilight:smile:

Comment 6: It's kind of a punny gag. Hot pink is an actual shade of color, and the TV Tropes character page said Scoots' mane was hot pink. I looked it up on the Wikipedia, and it turns out hot pink is a symbolic color used in the gay pride movements. I just noticed Scoots was being particularly aggressive and 'flamboyant' with her fighting, so I couldn't resist. As for the forelock, I'm correcting that: it should be forehead. And I guess I am strange anyway. :derp:smile:

I appreciate this kind of feedback, as I want to become a better writer and I can get away with editing stuff online. Thanks again, and enjoy the next chapter!

Oh, I see. Scootaloo's mane is not actually hot pink though  <that's hot pink, it's fuschia. :scootangel:

Not sure why this story isn't more hyped. It's really quite good considering it's randomness. 4.5 stars currently from me.

LOL, it looks like I derped. Can't tell hot pink from fuchsia.

Well, I can't let a joke go if it rests on a mistake like that. I'll have to take it down in case it confuses more readers. Thanks for pointing that out to me.

The dialogue is delicious. I kept wondering why there weren't that much descriptors. but that's like asking where is the ketchup for an authentic lasagna meal. but then I scrolled down and found out not only is there ketchup, there's mustard and jam, an the entire kitchen cupboard if I needed.

I enjoyed the consumption of this fiction, it left me very full.
