In my headcanon, it's only been a few months to maybe a year or so post Twilight's ascension to ruling Equestria. The CMC's aren't grown up yet and the Mane 6 won't be showing signs of age such as wrinkles.
Loving all the prep work Twilight is doing here. Makes far more sense then how Celestia handled Discord's release.

Good chapter, I like Cozy's interaction with Twilight. It makes sense that she's done trying to act like a good filly for the most part since everyone knows her by now. That choker once again proves how well Twilight prepared for this. I can't wait to see how Cozy will fare with her new family.
