Have to give somewhat of a critique here, she's short on money and she lives in a somewhat small apartment yeah?

I'd say for the apartment to have a fireplace it'd be very expensive.

Just a note, I know a fireplace fits in nicely in the story.

In all seriousness, this is honestly one of the best Dashie-inspired fics I've ever read. Didn't cry like I did after reading Dashie, but I felt something. And it felt wonderful. If and when the time comes for me to write my own, this (as well as the original by ROBCakeran53) is the standard I'll be holding myself to, and I can only hope like hell I meet that standard.

Sorry, but I have downvoted. This story tries too hard to be My Little Dashie but fails at key points. Instead of a loveable little filly, we get everyone's second least favourite, which greatly affects the reader's view of the story. Instead of being cute, she remains annoying with negligible character development. Instead of a valid conflict built up due to perceived betrayal, all we get is a stupid running away. Instead of the legitimate emotional impact of fifteen years of family relation, we get five minutes of giggling and poking. Instead of a heartwrenching goodbye, we get something more akin to "good riddance".

This story would have worked much better if Silver Spoon had more detailed character development and really got better as a person, and her relation to the girl got more detailed and shaded over the years of cohabitation.
