In a bout of boredom, Twilight Sparkle decides to make a clockwork automaton. When she tries to give it limited sentience, enough to follow basic instructions, she is more than a little shocked to discover that she has inadvertently put the soul of a living being within...
Now, Twilight has to cope with a living machine.
A silly little thing, not meant to be taken too seriously.
I kinda sorta blame listening to Steam Powered Giraffe for this.

lol, good thing death is a cool guy just making sure people don't end up in annoying limbos or whatever.
See, HiE tends to only be interesting if you manage to come up with something inventive like this. The simple/relatively straightforward variations like regular human in Equestria and human-turned-pony have been done to death, and all the obvious types of person(brony, non-brony, pony hater, badass) have pretty much been done, so when someone makes a well written "human soul Twilight someone managed to bind to a clockwork pony automaton in Equestria", it turns heads. I very much hope you continue with this, it's looking great so far!

1. You find the image you like.
2. Right click the image then select properties.
3. In the middle of the window you will see Address: (URL).
4. Put the cursor in front of the address that starts with http:, next, while holding down the shift key hit the 'end' key once. This will highlight the address. Now right click the highlighted address and select copy.

I'm hoping for more horrible wailing from the automaton. It's delicious (and different from the usual crop) for the creation to gain thought while being aware of what form proper life is suppose to take, while the creator looks on in horror. 
The author has stated that he threw this together for fun, so I fear the the sudden demand for an extension will cause a breakdown in the quality. There's already an example of less than stellar storytelling: how did Joe Human ascertain he was a metal horse so quickly? That isn't a conclusion most people would come to. The author could just cut it off here by having Twilight put her creation (from her perspective) out of its misery, and learning a lesson about approaching the powers of magic and science.

I am not quite sure but there is a good joke or at least pun in there somewhere
