So. Does need work like, say, you try to breath underwater and then you'll get gills? Or maybe if they try to do unicorn magic really hard they will grow a dragon horn/horns that will let them do it?

>>12813551281355 Based on how I see it trying to breath underwater would send the message that the dragon needed a larger lung capacity rather than gills, They still follow stereotypical dragon physiology for the most part, its just something from the past has really messed up their growth and development. Same goes for the magic, although trying to do different things with magic may lead to different kinds of fires and breath abilities, hadn't consider for it much until your comment.

I like this story but please try to not make Drake into some kind of gary Stu when he increases in power and experience as a dragon.

Oh and before i forget it Season 3 premiere was GAKtacular even if Sombra was a bit flat as a villan.

You keep writing "and" instead of "an", which should be easy to fix :)

You seem stuck using human tactics as your reference, diamond dogs are tunnelers and griffins can fly yet they fight like regular humans? I would have expected the griffins to fight more like Mongolian horse archers or something similar, using false retreats and ranged weapons while the diamond dogs would probably use pitfalls and hit and run tactics like using half their force to pull the griffins from their camp while the rest attacked the camp from underground, taking hostages that could then be used to force the griffins to surrender. I could go on but I think you get my point.

As far as the dogs being above ground I am going with the mountain nearby made to ground to hard to tunnel through with that many dogs effectively.
