Very cute story. Twist is easily my least favorite character. I like Applejack more than Twist, that's how much I don't like her. This story, however, made me appreciate Twist, so kudos for that. Great job.

About a month ago I didn't even know this ship existed, now I'm tracking the only two (maybe) Twisted Spoon (Silver Twist?) stories on FIMfiction.

I have only three words to describe this.

OH MY GOSH!!  A wild Twist story has appeared and I must read it!!  Silver Twist All the way.  This has earned my favorite and a gif of Silver Spoon clapping. (I would also give you a Twist one but I cant find it.)

I heart-ify this story.  Silver and Twist are my favorite non-CMC foals, and a shipping of them is freaking awesome.  The themes in this story are pretty cool, too.  It's all emotional and deep and such.  Beauty ain't always just skin-deep, and that stuff.

Okay

I'm a Twails (Twist/Snails) shipper myself, but this was pretty good. Very cute and relateable. It was a little rough around the edges, though; there were quite a few typoes, and some sentences or paragraphs here and there that could be improved. And you mixed up Snips and Snails' names in the third paragraph. Another editing pass over the whole thing would be a good idea, I think.

It was also shorter than it probably should've been. I would've liked to have seen a little more backstory on Twist's crush. It felt kind of arbitrary, I guess. Twist and Silver haven't had much interaction in the show, so some fleshing out of their history here might have helped make it more believeable. The dance scene could've been extended, too. Silver seemed to go along with Twist's advances way too quickly and easily. Just some things to consider.

All that criticism aside, though, I enjoyed this. Twist doesn't get nearly enough attention around here, or on the show for that matter. 4/5, and thumbs up.

I rather enjoyed this light-hearted tale, but of course you know I love anything with Twist in it.

I liked how you elaborated on Twist's characterization; she'd be in midst day dream, but still wouldn't hesitate to go to help her mother with chores. That really is a believable aspect to how she's portrayed in in the show. I liked the transition as well to where she ended up skipping on her chores for the day to learn how to style her mane and to later go to the dance. She's still a kid, after all.

I have to say, I thought you were going to take the DT vs. Applebloom scene differently, but I still enjoyed the direction you took nonetheless

I sure wish Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara get more air-time eventually, even if their roles are solely to be antagonists to the CMC. I always enjoy seeing them on screen. Twist too; she needs more love.
