Chapter 4: The Creator Meets Her Creations

We turned around to face Lauren only to face three bodyguards with bats in one hand and a pistol in the other. For some reason they all looked the same, I don’t know why but John and everyone else seemed to know.

“What the hell! How did you get a hold of pieces of armour from the Canterlot armoury?!” Yelled John.

“Easy, Lauren has a few friends in Equestria that got a hold of these for us.” Guard one said. That’s when I saw Lauren look at us in shock, and then after the shock came her calm state.

“Let them through Lucifer, the princesses and her friends are no threat to us and they are your rulers after all.” Lucifer (Guard one) let off a low growl.

“As you wish Lauren just make sure your making the right choice instead of the wrong one.” The two other guards put their weapons away and Lucifer soon followed. They stepped out of the way and we heading into the room. The kitchen table was set up and we all sat down, Luna started to frown as I saw her surveyed her surroundings.

“You know Lauren; you didn’t have to tell your guards to back down. We could have taken them down, well one of us could.” She pointed her hoof at me.

“So why do you think I could have taken them Luna.” She frowned.

“I have been in your dreams and memories James, you are a rather violent individual but you are also calm and collective. You can think on your feet and when you pointed that gun at my sister I was legitimately frightened. Do you know why James?”

“Ok, shoot.”

“Because you had the look of a man who thirsts for blood and war, a man that would stop at nothing to get what he wants. I know that look because before I became Nightmare Moon I saw that look in my own reflection.” She looked at me sadly “That was the day when I realized I had turned into a monster, but alas even after my heart giving me that warning I continued my downwards spiral and well, John and you know the rest. I still feel that monster trying to come out sometimes, but I guess it’s because I still feel that I am the monster from those old tales.” John went up and hugged her.

“Don’t worry Luna none of us think you’re a monster especially me.” He kissed her on the check and wiped her tears away with his hand. “I can’t lie at the first when I saw you on the show I fell for your looks, but now that I’ve met you in person I love you even more. Not for your looks but for your brains and personality.” She looked at him with the look of longing in her eyes. Just then I heard a hacking cough and we turned to see Lauren sitting at the end of the table.

“I know I must be interrupting something but we need to talk about things.” Luna looked up at Lauren.

“Okay but you need not interrupt us since my sister Celestia will be doing all the talking.” Luna got back to talking to John. Celestia looked slightly worried by Luna’s statement.

“Yes. Well as my sister said I will be talking in her stead, while she ummm... Flirts.” Celestia sighed; I could tell she was slightly aggravated by Luna’s actions. “Well Lauren what do you know about our world?”

“Nothing other than the scripts I get in from an unknown source. I honestly believed they were just stories at first but when the bodyguards came I began to suspect that the stories had some truth to them but I never suspected that you existed at all.”

“How do you get these scripts Lauren?”

“I’ll leave the house and they’ll just be there or sometimes they are delivered to my house by mail. I have a council of thirty writers that know of this strange phenomenon and they just take turns on each script.”

“One last question, how will this affect us and the elements of harmony?” Lauren rubbed her hand on her chin.

“Well if I’m correct it won’t affect you or the elements at all.” She looked lost. “Wait did you tell Twilight?”

“Yes I did, is that a problem?”

“Well, yes because then she will tell all her friends and they will never act the same and will slowly drift apart.”

“Why is that?”

“Think about it Rainbow Dash wants to become famous so she can be part of the Wonderbolts but if she knew she was being view and watched by millions of people then she will lose that ambition to be famous and she would stop trying to impress ponies on your world. Twilight would want to stay here after you get back and will try to learn everything about this world, in turn a domino effect would start and since Twilight brought them together and kept them together they would drift apart, slowly but sure it would happen.” Celestia seemed distraught. I wish I knew what was going on in her head.

“You are right, when we get back we should wipe Twilight’s memory of this nonsense and then we can go home.” I and Celestia looked at Luna and John who seemed to be talking about the internet. Then John started blushing deep red while Luna was laughing so hard that she fell off the chair.

“What happen to you two?” Lauren asked. Then Luna stopped laughing.

“Oh I was just asking about the internet, and then I asked which explicit image of me he loved the most. I’m sorry John but your reaction was priceless.” Celestia looked at her and smiled.

“I’m just glad you’re having fun, Lulu.”

“Thanks my dear sister but I better get back to talking to John, you know about the wedding and honeymoon.” She giggled at the end. I think she may be enjoying making John blush a little bit too much. Lauren looked on in disgust.

“I never knew you would fall for a human Luna I thought you would have a husband of your own species or at least from your own dimension.” Lauren chuckled; Luna looked up at Lauren and growled. Her face turned red not from embarrassment but of anger.

“And what do you mean by this Lauren, hmm?! How dare you insult Jonathan that way! What gives you the right to decide what I do with my love life you witch!” She seemed to be snorting flames; John had to hold her back just to keep her from ripping Lauren apart.

“Luna! Calm down for goddess sakes, you are Royalty act like it!” John yelled. Luna now faced him with her white glowing eyes, but something happen I didn’t expect she and I both looked in his eyes and what I saw surprised me. His eyes did not change colour but there was something about his look that if I could only see his eyes they would lead me to believe that he was an old man that had lived through a live of pain and sorrow. I looked at Luna and saw her eyes; no longer white from rage but blue shimmering with tears, he had tears in his eyes as well.

“Now...Now Luna please stop being angry it pains me to see you in that state. Remember when someone makes a rude or horrible comments don’t react, because that’s all they want from you and don’t worry I will always be here for you no matter what happens I will always be here for you.” He went up to hug her and once he made contact she started sobbing uncontrollably. Lauren stepped up and put her hand on Luna’s shoulder.

“I am deeply sorry for making that comment for now I know you belong together, unlike all the other males in the clopper community I find this one is especially dedicated to you. He is your rock and your shoulder you need to cry in he seems to be the perfect husband for you.” I and everyone were now shedding tears for the couple. Celestia got up tears still glistening in her eyes.

“John I was foalish for making fun of you and Luna’s relationship. I should learn to respect her choices more, for calming her and promising to be her husband I will cast a spell I cast once in a millennium, it is the eternity spell that I cast on me and Lulu it will make sure you can be with her forever and I hope your love stays as strong as it is now.”

I saw a ball of energy start to form on the tip of Celestia’s horn it stayed there until it turned into the size of John, Celestia gritted her teeth and let go of the orb steering it to John. It then surround John and he screamed in pain, but soon the screams stopped and the orb fell to reveal John’s unconscious body. He was somehow glowing as if he was a fire that would never be extinguished; it pained me to see John in such a state. Luna gently nuzzled his chest and laid there with her head to his chest, a tear escaped her eye. Everyone but me left the room I sat in a chair keeping guard to make sure nothing happened to Luna or John, when Luna finally went to sleep I covered them with a blanket. I then proceeded to fall asleep myself and soon the whole world went black.

I woke up and found myself back at home. I decide to check the guest rooms. In the first one was a warzone, people dying left and right crying out for me to save them. A man grabbed my ankle but then his hand turned to dust and the door slammed shut.  In the other guest room was a man on a snowy hill top, beside him was an old peach tree. He was dressed in a mage robes with a gun holster on one hip and a big combat knife in a holster on the other hip. I couldn`t see his eyes, all I could see was the glow of red from his bug like eye visors and the frost of his breath he looked in my eyes and it felt like his red stare was piercing into my soul. It started rain in the room and suddenly the room changed from day time to night time. Lightning flashed, the man took out a small chalkboard he wrote on it and pointed it towards me on it he wrote ‘Please save us.’

Another flash of lightning happened and all the sudden the peach tree was covered with bodies hanging on the upper limbs of the tree by rope I knew everyone on the tree. I saw my parents, my brother, my sister, my aunts and uncles, hell even my comrades from the war were there. They kept repeating the same sentence.

“Please Save Us.” I fell to my knees and clenched my eyes shut, tears going down my face. I woke up in a cold sweat and surveyed the room; we were still in Lauren’s dining room. I looked on the table I saw a robe, a gun holster, a big combat knife in a holster, and the mask. There laid beside it was a chalkboard ‘Please save yourself and forget about us.’ was written on it. I cried deep pained sobs

“How am I supposed to save myself if I couldn’t save any of you?” I continued this for what seemed to be hours until there were no tears left.

A/N Oh wasn’t this an interesting chapter, out of all of the chapters I’ve written this is beyond my favourite. Hopefully you liked it too :) I will be going to school in 27 days so chapters won’t be coming out as fast as they are now but by then hopefully I will have about 15 chapters done or more. I know that there are not much people reading this bottom stuff (or the book) but this is important as soon as this sub plot with James is over I will be switching to 3rd person or 1st person (I can’t chose) and continue with the John and Luna story line.
