So, he thinks Twilight and Fluttersy are a delusion.  The phrase "What are you smoking and have you brought enough for everyone" comes to mind.

The thing is... I wonder if he also slipped sideways through reality due to a hyperdrive malfuction.  Equestria doesn't seem to have the same laws of physics as Earth's universe (the Sonic Rainboom being a good example; the Princess's control over the heavens is another).  That might explain why the fighter's reactor went critical: If the laws of physics are different enough, the way nuclear reactions work and the way electronics function could be different enough to render them useless or death-traps.

This is the part where our intrepid star voyager's life starts getting interesting.  If two talking equines is hard to handle, wait until he has to deal with six... and the dragon.  Especially with Pinkie Pie and Rarity's pecular... er... personal quirks.
