Well that's something you don't here every day, and this kind of reminds me of the story that Palpatine told Anakin in "Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith" about the sith lord who could stop death, taught his apprentice everything he knew and was then killed in his sleep by that same apprentice.

I know, I know, the truth pains us all. But someone has to be the bearer of bad news. As far as a continuation, I'm not sure! I didn't plan on this going too much farther. If you want more Starswirl in general, though, I do have a fic planned out. It's a songfic that spans an entire album, focusing on Starswirl and Clover as they go on an epic quest together. Hopefully it's cool!

I like this view of Starswirl and Clover. The story, while a bit short, was undeniably enjoyable.

Facepalm.... Starswirl is obviously from gen 4. Aftfer from research, I realized that Clover was from Hearth's Warming Eve.

I can't believe it. The character. 
And I feel Clover should think of Starswirl with just a little more reverence. But not too much, Just a little. 
Two things though. Wasn't Clover the Clever a girl. Clover always struck me as kinda like Twilight.
I assume that the spell doesn't get USED at the end of the story?
Seems a little... vague as to the meaning, but it gives the reader a little to think about... probably not a lot in the vast majority of cases, but usually at least a little? Hopefully? I have a hard time figuring out how other people think.
