I'm new to the fandom (fimdom?), but I haven't seen a cross-gender, cross-species transformation story before.  I feel like this concept has so much potential, but the fact that he's aware of the MLP universe just kills it for me. What a rare and marvelous opportunity, and yet the wonder and marvel are missing because he (she) already has a partial understanding of what's going on. The fact that Evening Glow (lovely name) decides what her name is so quickly cheapens the whole experience, too. This thread should be a story about self rediscovery. She needs to earn her new name AND her new gender, not just have them doled out.

OOOOH, a lot of the PonyEarthVerse stories have the change in gender. (and the stories are awesome, I suggest Awakening Pink to start)
