Well, this seems interesting enough. I wonder how Dash ends up becoming a super. Tracking
Shes on Earth, and cover it looks like she is dressed up as Ironman..I AM INTRIIIIIIGUED!![]()
Look forward to more chapters (please dont have her make too big a fool of herself..pretty please?
)
I'll just leave this here. I doubt the next chapters will be this fast, or this short.
Suuuuuuper Dash! (She should now be able toooooooo REVERSE TIIIIIME!)
Dash comes from an alien planet... she's super strong and invulnerable to damage... DASH IS SUPERPONY!

Everything went dim for a moment before Rainbow plummeted into the ground at over three-hundred miles an hour.
The speed of sound is 760mph; she'd have to be going at least that fast, considering she'd just broken the sound barrier.
There, that's better. A thousand mph should be just about right, being halfway between Mach 1 and 2 (assuming that the "second Rainboom" you were talking about is at Mach 2, of course).
>>1025438 Thanks, hopefully I'll get another chapter out tonight. Bad news is I just bought the complete set of Centennial, which, if you don't know, is 21 hours of the best Western show of all time. So that's taken a bit of priority over writing.
But fear not! I shall continue writing no matter what! ![]()
(Not trying to sound like I'm trying to boss you)
Oh, so glad to hear that! ![]()
And I know how it feels to like a show... what else am I on this website for?
Anyway, like I said, I will cheer you as you add on to the story! ![]()
Good luck writing it! I await the next chapter... with patience, of course.
Here is (the only MLP cheer I can find) my cheer to you!

It's going great so far, but unless Scootaloo somehow shows up as well later on it probably isn't appropriate to list her as a main character. ^^
I'd give it an 8.5/10. One point lost for the rather abrupt beginning and another half for a few very minor spelling errors I caught here and there. It kept me quite entertained though, so as long as it updates every now and then it's perfectly fine!
You are a genius! You must get Rainbow into a brawl with Thor!
And then there came a day unlike any other...............![]()
>>1135021 Hopefully not long. I'm on vacation right now, so writing is sorta slower than usual, even though I sorta promised people it would have been out on Saturday
Oh, well, OK. To help make it slightly more enjoyable, here are some videos for you to watch.
PONIES The Anthology II (WARNING: Over 60+ Minutes)
Nice to see an update after all this time.
However, while your writing is clear and to the point, until we get a bit further into the story I can't say too much as to what I think of the plot so far as there isn't quite enough to go on.
Still, I eagerly await the next installment.
>>1214234 Thank you. When I saw, I screamed like a little girl mixed with a caffeine-induced squirrel. Feels were had.
>>1214239 Yeah, I sorta just wanted to get this one out of the way. The beginning offers a tiny glimpse of plot, but the next chapter is where it starts to get a bit more concise. ...I think that's the right word. Or maybe not, I'm too lazy to check.
Now I get to wonder to myself which Avengers these are. The Movieverse Avengers? Earth's Mightiest Heroes? 616? Ultimate?
This sums up my reaction
HOw i think Fury feels when Iron man says he's chasing a rainbow colored pony:
I can see why you'd go with Movieverse. All the other versions of the Avengers are so experienced and jaded at this point that a talking rainbow pegasus wouldn't even warrant a blink. The rookie team allows for more comedy. Plus in 616 Reed Richards or Doctor Strange could probably figure out how to send Rainbow home in under five minutes.
I assume the evil SCA reject is a movieverse variant on Nathaniel Garret the Black Knight silver age Iron Man villain. If this version's given in fully to the Ebony Blade and accepted its full power he'd be a decent full team level threat. Though doing that tends to make the wielder too psychotic and megalomaniacal to serve anyone as a henchman.
>>1215536 ... I think I love you.
Yes, you got the Black Knight/Nathaniel Garret part right, but from what I recall Garrett was never able to wield the Ebony Blade, unless I'm mistaken. Nevertheless, I've worked it into the story (through the means of another big-name villain, who shall leave his big name... nameless, for the moment), as well as Elendil, which is something Rainbow Dash probably won't be too fond of.
Another amazi- I mean MARVELOUS chapter.
Nice how you added the Black Knight. He was always one of my dad's favorite villains. Though I can't say I know too mutch about him. My problem, as a nerd, is that I keep my interests a little too spread out. I could probably tell you a little about a lot of nerdy topics, whereas most nerds could probably tell you a lot about several. So depending on what else you decide to referance in this story, I could either follow it completely or become very lost. I'm still waiting for a brawl between Thor and Rainbow.....
So I just got done reading this and from what I read so far its pretty damn awesome. The actions of the characters so far (for me anyways) feel real and believable which make this much more interesting for me. Being a non-knowledgeable fan of most things Superheros is also a plus.
I will watch this with great zeal. Carry on...
>>1479277 Neat! I think it's a nice coincidence that, RIGHT as I get off my hiatus, someone comments on my story saying 'continue and stuff'. I'll try to get the next chapter out by the end of the week.
Also, glad you like it! I was a little worried about the characterization of some of their actions, but I'm glad to know that someone finds it believable! ![]()
Pizza is all that's needed to make a story as good as this, I suppose. ![]()
How ironic that the only guy who went down with the chopper was the one that can fly.
Edit for the Whiny Bitch Train
So despite the fact that, with one exception (five if you count Thor's group individually), every alien entity that they have encountered has been very hostile, SHIELD is fine with letting one wander around their ship and access their computers. Sure she saved a kid, but these guys work with hardcore spies on a regular basis, they really should have considered the possibility that she staged it.
Stark has told them that he thinks Dash is invulnerable, so the next thing that they do is send every Avenger they have on board on a six hour flight. If she does decide to start wrecking the place up, there's really nothing they could do to stop her. While this can be justified by the fact that they needed to go do a mission, it probably would have been prudent to stick her in the Hulk's time-out bubble until they could bring in someone who might have been able to handle her. Fury also said that he was "sending Agent Poindexter in [her] place". Since when has she had a place?
This leads on to my next point, that being Benjamin Poindexter. Come on SHIELD, it's called a background check, you might want to consider looking into it. I also would have liked to see a bit more of Dash interacting with the team, particularly their various reactions to her claim of having achieved time travel via flying really fast, though I guess it would basically been a mix of "wut" and "riiiight".
Bleh. So as to not leave with the lingering taste of Negative Nancy in my mouth, I will say that I did very much like Dash's interaction with Fury. I can only imagine that that mixed feeling of awe, admiration, and impending doom is the same thing that anyone who meets S.L.(M.F.)J. experiences in real life when they encounter him. Also, I have no idea who Nathan Garrett aka the Black Knight is, but I do like the idea of a guy who can take on the Avengers using a taser flail. That just screams badass.
>>1555203 I had an idea to put her in the Hulk Time-Out Bubble, as you called it (Which is the best name ever), but I figured that would sort of ruin Dash's view of SHIELD. So I scrapped it for what's coming the next chapter.
And the way I see it is they view Dash almost like a puppy. I mean, she's not very bright, no offence, not overly hostile (Debatable), and generally has the attention span of a couple of toasters. There isn't a direct threat letting her trot around places, even if she is a crazy horse-alien. Albeit, an adorable rainbow horse-alien, but my point still stands.
Also, I'm glad you know who Benjamin Poindexter is. Kudos. But this isn't a particularly comic-canon Benjamin. Like I've stated before, I redid some things to accommodate my own universe and ideas. In this, Benjamin Poindexter is just a regular old guy. He isn't a mercenary, or a killer or anything. Yet.
I can roll with that. By the way, I find the idea of the 'normal' crew assuming she's just some kind of pet/mascot the team picked up on one of their adventures to be bloody hilarious. Then what they would think after seeing said mascot beat the ever loving shit out of a cyborg flying orca or whatever to be multiple layers of bloody hilarious.
I just read over this, and where the fuck did I get cyborg flying orca from? I don't even remember typing that. Oh, it's 4:15 am, so I guess that's something of an explanation.
Not sure how comfortable I feel with Rainbow being so scared of Fury
Come on dude, there was some pretty obvious foreshadowing. We all saw it coming.
I just remembered this.
>>1555734 Let me just forcefully shove an image into your head.
Honestly, I have no idea why Rainbow Dash would be scared of him. It's totally unnecessary and silly.
*looks up from slapping around a dead Eldar*
I'd have to agree with... erm... McPoopin on this one. SHIELD is a dick, but they're dicks for the sake of the Earth. They'd lock Dash in a box first chance they get. Not that I give a damn about plausibility, but I'd consider it.
Now, if you'll excuse me...
*goes back to slapping dead Eldar*
I find the bit where stark does a double take at seeing the evil pegasus a bit overwrought.
Elendil's proportions aren't gonna be a match for RD in any way, and RD doesn't carry passengers. the two silhouettes won't look similar at all.
So, unless Stark's seen Garret and his Monster before, the reaction doesn't make any sense.
also, I think we need a "meanwhile" chapter soon. Not like next update soon, but somewhere in the next four updates or so, I think.
Oh, well.
"Meanwhile, back in Equestria...."
I suspect that a whole episode would probably be too long, so maybe as an aside at the end of another chapter.
maybe sorta like this:
[RD is just about to pull off something amazing when]
Meanwhile, in Equestria...
[twilight is explaining to her friends and scootaloo that RD didn't die in the Incident, but doesn't know where she ended up, or how she's doing]
TS:"I just hope she's OK..."
>>1567298 That'll be dealt with, but not by a meanwhile thing. When I first started, I specifically told myself I wouldn't go back to Equestria. But I figured that leaving it out would sort of limit a lot of possible ground. I dunno, I might not get around to it, but I'll have something about it. If that makes sense...
...I'm late to read....whatever. One sec, activating my "Motherbucking Fangirl Freakout Mode" (MFFM for short). Ahem...ERMAGEHRD!!! I LOVES DIS!!!!!! ![]()

Okay, I'm done.
I'm really liking the dynamic between Tony and Dash. It's really cute. Also loved Steve's reaction to another Stark running around. Hope the next chapter is as good as the previous ones!
I DEMAND MOAR!
...erm, if that's ok with you...
