Yeah...Sorry folks, but it looks like you'll have to wait a while fo the next chapter. Y'see, when I started posting on here, the entire story up to this point was already on EqD, so posting the chapters on here was nice and quick. But it looks like I've caught up with the posts on EqD, so new chapters will be coming alot slower.
Adding to that, I have come down with a serious case of writer's block for this story. It's like, I know what I want to happen, but don't know how to get there or how to write it down.
So, long story short, sorry but it'll probably be a while until the next chapter is up, unless I have some sudden divine inspiration in the next few hours.
But I have some good news too: I may be working on another story on the sidelines. It's probably goin to be considerably lighter and less...well, horrific. As it stands, it looks to be a high-adventure fantasy fic. So stay tuned for any new developments, my loyal fans!

I have finally started to get over my writer's block! I've had a real bolt out of the blue for this story, and the pieces are finally beginning to fall into place. So, sincerest apologies for making everypony wait so long. I'm part way into the latest chapter, and with some luck, I should have it done and uploaded by this time tomorrow. I should also have a new chapter for "Turn Loose The Hippocampus" up soon too!

307542 Oh no no no no. The Slenderman is a much older, and much more dangerous entity. Not much is known about his origins or abilities, since they vary from story to story. But for the best impressions of him, look up the following youtube shows:MarbleHornets, TribeTwelve, DarkHarvest00. I'd say the Endermen (or at least their appearance) are actually inspired by him.
And no, he does NOT have the same weaknesses. I honestly don't know what weaknesses he has in the regular stories, but I'm pretty sure sunlight, water and diamonds are not them. And I won't give away whether they are or are not his weaknesses in this either.
