Applejack/Soarin', huh? Never seen that one before. I guess he would do it for the pies, though.
hmm... I honestly do think that this ship of Soarin/Applejack works, Pegasi don't have to always be with other Pegasi. on fimfiction.net it seems that writers only pair him with rainbow dash and spitfire. I honestly really like this pair.
Well...that is it I can't take it anymore! I must write a romance fic with this ship! Argh!

I think it would be cute if you played on her insecurities a bit more, but whatever. I'm sure you've got a better plan.

I strongly favor this kind of writing structure for clop: short, to the point, and easy on the filler dialogue.

After reading these three stories, let me give credit where credit is due. Your stories are mechanically superb, your syntax is quite pleasant, and your characters are spot-on. Individually, all of these stories have been fantastic.
Taken together, though, they are somewhat lessened. Luckily, this is not in a story-wrecking way; in fact, I liked the overarching story between this story and WEaSM. It's just that certain similarities emerge. In each of the three stories I just read the "joined by a thin string of saliva" line popped up in only slightly changed forms. Also, the "separating from her with a soft, wet pop" felt a bit recycled from WEaSM.
This leaves me with a good deal of cognitive dissonance. On one side, I really do like these stories, and, as such, I have been thumbing them up. On the other, though, I don't like the — in my mind — glaring similarities between them. I mean, I suppose that the "pop" thing could be a form of a callback, but I just don't feel that to be the case.
I am honestly sad that I won't be giving you more than a few likes, and I'm also more than a little intimidated. You've written a lot of this stuff, and maybe this type of repetition is actually unavoidable. If that is the case, then I am even more sorry about not watching you, as it's not your fault. Bringing in further cognitive dissonance — and please don't take this the wrong way — I do hope that it's just a slip-up on your part. Otherwise, there isn't a way to keep it fresh, and that would be an issue to me, an entire genre-spanning issue. I hope that doesn't exist... But I also hope you aren't failing.
