Harmony, should not be a delusion held only by those who have not suffered, but the knowledge that wrongs can be forgiven and life eventually returned to peace.

T

Windfeather, who has just recently been found responsible for stranding around 2000 newfoals in the exponential lands, has been asked to have tea with the princesses. This is the story of how Princess Celestia deals with threats to Equestira that are only mere ponies. An alternative to chapter ten of Chatoyance's The Taste of Grass (Written with Permission).

Really wonderful alternate chapter, and I feel, more true to the spirit of how I really picture Celestia, than the one I wrote.

Very well done m'dear now you need to write stories for my pony arts :twilightsheepish:

I can't tell you how happy I am to hear that. Not to belittle the moment, but I was hoping you would leave the greater part of a book as a review :derpytongue2: , but at least tell me this: was Windfeather's character true to your original? It was a bit hard to write him due to his limited appearance in the original.

Since you asked, ok.

I love it. Especially the bit about the triplets.

Ha, thats the best punishment I've ever seen Celly done.

Loved it. And i see what you did there with the triplets :rainbowlaugh:

Living with the consequences can be the harshest sentence.
If FiM was a more grown-up show that would make for an excellent letter to the princess. Alas she knows that one already. :fluttershysad:
And I love the bit with the triplets. Like they need being triplets to wreak havoc over the land! :scootangel:

The story for the triplet statue put a warm smile on my face when I wrote it. I've very glad you enjoyed it.

I'm not one to believe that Celestia hands down punishments at all, just deep realizations to the pony in the wrong why what they have done is wrong. After all, how do you think the ponies of Equestria became so wonderfully nice?

I am hard pressed to remember any show on TV where the characters love and care for one another with all the altruism that the great philosophers in history have been preaching. Compare that to anything else on TV and you'll see the only difference between the characters from soap operas, sitcoms, "reality shows", and dramas as compared to a seven year old selfish brats fighting with their siblings is that the seven year old brats don't know how to cover up their spoiled selfishness.
No my dear, honesty with one's self and to others, the will power to conquer selfishness and greed, and the knowledge that one's happiness comes from the well being of those around one is the most grown-up thing I have ever seen.

Alas she knows that one already. :fluttershysad:

When Twilight fell into despair for how she seemed to have lost her friends and failed to defeat Discord, Celestia took only one action - to return to her her own letters on the study of friendship, and Twilight remembered why she was trying so hard. The letters were never for Celestia; they are for all of her little ponies.

The only reason I have to dislike this story is that there aren't any ponifaloons in this version of The Taste of Grass. Aside from that, a fantastic piece.

Also, Cutie Mark Crusader Recurring Archetype! YAY! :raritywink:

My horn just fell off... The idea of being a zerg overmind does not please me... Being a zergling on the otherhoof, that would be kinda cute :derpytongue2:

Also, Cutie Mark Crusader Recurring Archetype!

I wasn't aware I wrote anything that was reoccurring, could you enlighten me as to what you mean?

Holy madden custard cheese, Crusaders were what!? :pinkiegasp:

1038097 "They always manage to find each other, no matter what life they have"

Sounds recurring to me.

997994 perhaps i should write something

I think that would be very interesting.

I keep on forgetting death is transitory.
