This was a fun and enjoyable read so far, I thought. Knowing practically nothing about Dr. Who, I'm sure I'm missing a number of references in it, but the story is still interesting even without that. I've always liked the idea of stories that revisit characters in the future, finding them greatly changed, and you do that pretty well here.
The twist in this latest chapter was kind of surprising even though I knew there was a twist before hand. I hadn't even considered that option for some reason, but it makes perfect sense.
Good work, Bramble. I'll be curious to see it continue.
