Addiction?? *looks at tv next to computer, Skyrim is running* crap

Interesting. I am thoroughly addicted to Skyrim and I'm on my third character now, LOL! :pinkiehappy:
I can see you wrote this as an episode of the show, but the lyrics to the theme song interrupt the flow of the story. There are a few typos here and there and I'm not sure I dig the intro with the POV of the cake. I like the way you handled the concept of the gaming typewriter.

Magic type writers playing the part of a next gen gaming system.....I can totally work with that.
Never played Elderscrolls but I've survived Tetris, 5 generations of Pokemon games and some of the best RPGs both TSR and Japan have thrown at me.
So I know the potential for fun this is gonna be.:coolphoto::rainbowdetermined2:

....skyrim is not a addiction nor is it a want IT IS A NEED and the fact that ponies get addicted makes it 20% cooler

Curse you for making me keep wanting to read all these pony stories! I'm supposed to have a life! :flutterrage:

I like the episode format, but still needs a good life lesson in there somewhere. Maybe something along the lines of work vs play or apologizing to a friend for using their stuff a bit too much? Keep up the writing, but do you need an editor?

Oh god, she's going to play through the whole game before Spike does, I can just tell, and he'll be upset because she ruins it for him. I accidentally did that to my brother with Assassin's Creed 2.

We need a pony Skyrim mod :raritystarry:

58523 It kinda came out of a random jot that the story happened to start out of. Shoulda left it out, didn't want to.

:D :heart::heart::rainbowlaugh::twilightsheepish: AWESOME!!!!

I like that you didn't just give the ponies an X-Box or a modern PC gaming rig. (It doesn't hurt that this brings back memories of some of the primitive computers I used in my youth, though I was just a little too young to actually use a Teletype.) If you continue this (and, darnit, you're already writing two fics I want to see more of), it'd be interesting to see some other genres explored. For instance, an MMO—excuse me, a MUD.

58988 Naw, this one is complete.

All the pony children are madly jealous of Griffon children, who dominate the competitive scene with their natural advantages. Applebloom earns her cuitie mark creating the first commercially viable typewriter with a PUI, or Pony User Interface. The Apple family business is quickly retooled into selling Typewriters. The farm changes it's logo to Applebloom's new cutiemark, and names their new product lines after members of the apple family. The Bic Macintosh series is a runaway hit.

The Nothern Griffon conglomerate quickly retaliates with new PUI equipped hardware. With their large manufacturing base, they nearly shut Apple Typewriters Inc. out of the market. Celestia points out that Applebloom invented the PUI and if the Griffons wanted to see a patient, they could look at Applebloom's flank. Claiming that Celesita was showing favoritism towards ponies, children of the Elements of Harmony, or even Equestria's own state-funded Typewriter manufacturer, Sun Typecrosystems, the Griffons sue. Celestia laughs.

Oh boy, this is fun!

I say cupcakes you have an emotional relapse
You then write a story with the horrific murder of a cake at the hooves of Pinkie Pie, I feel responsible.

I never asked for this.

59309 See, my problem with Cupcakes was Gilda, not the gore. Sorry for my overreaction. I may have been pretty drunk last time we were talking.

Heck, I may be a little drunk now.

Weeee!

59205 Sniperjolly, you beautiful camper you....I want to make love to that comment. If I ever expand this story, I will, I WILL use that!

59205
By Celestia's that was awesome

59205 bloody brilliant.

62914 also bloody brilliant. i, for one, LOVE the cake intro. that devious cake. his fiendish plans were foiled ALL UP IN DIS HIZZOUSE!! also, you've inspired in me a strange desire to play Skyrim now... hmm... no.. i must resist the urge. i cannot allow myself to become addicted to anything. ever. except ponies. :pinkiecrazy:
