Other than that, this is excellent, and I look forward to seeing which characters you will use to replace DC's heroes and villains.  But still...

1. Blueblood.  Did you really have to use this a-hole for Batman?  See below.

2. Fancy Pants.  In the episode he starred in, Fancy Pants did not act like the typical Canterlot snob, and even came to Rarity's rescue at the end.  He would have made a better Wayne, who is the public face of a generous philanthropist in contrast to Batman's hard fist of justice.  I would switch Blueblood and Fancy Pants' roles in your story.

3. Rarity. I can see this.

4. Rainbow Dash.  "You're on my list...BANG!"  ...WTF?! Explain why you chose to cast her here.

Alright.

1. In case you haven't noticed, Batman is an asshole to the villains. Remember what he does to Mr. Freeze in the game? Yes, he would make a shite Wayne, but Batman? He is perfect. And unless Wayne isn't Batman, both characters in this story will be out of character.

2. I held a vote amongst my brony friends to see who would become the Godamm Batman. Nearly all of them voted Blueblood, and the loser would become Penguin. As Blueblood is out of character, so is Fancypants. Maybe I'll write some background for part 2.

3. Rarity loves shiny things and cats

4. Deadshot is arrogant, smug and overconfident in his abilities to the extreme. Exactly like Rainbow Dash. I am using characters whose personality fit the villain/hero. Although a few will be in there for the LOLZ.

Well this story is basically just a re-telling of Arkham City story with ponies.  Everything happened just like in the game with only minor differences. So why should I read the story if I already know how it ends?  

Another problem is the lack of FiM characters.  Blueblood as Batman is a good choice as well as Rarity as Catwoman. Fancypants, on the other hand, doesn’t make a good penguin but feel free to prove me wrong.

But what’s about the rest of the characters?  All main villains are still the original characters in pony form. There’s such a large number of FiM characters and you didn’t use them.  Take Hugo Strange for example, he’s one of the main villain in this story and you didn’t replace him with a FiM characters.  Same goes for the Joker. So this is not even a re-telling of the Arkham City story with FiM characters, it’s a re-telling of the Arkham City story in which half of the cast is still the same.

Twilight Sparkle, for example, could’ve been a very good replacement for Hugo Strange and I don’t need to tell anyone which FiM character should be the Joker….

So here are my advices to you.

Firstly: Use more FiM character, especially for the important roles. And show us that they are FiM characters and not just Batman characters with a different name.  Blueblood should retain parts of his jerkass attitude even if he’s Batman and Rarity needs at least one over her over-dramatic moments.

Secondly: Don’t follow the story of Arkham City slavishly.  You need to offer you readers something. Only copying the story of a game won’t do it. Give us unique twists and situations. That’s the reason why Fallout: Equestria works.  It uses to stories of FO 1 &2 but changes things, places and characters.

I replaced Hugo Strange with  Doctor Whooves.  But You're right, though. Expect to see different villains/ heroes popping up. And no, I am not replacing Joker with Discord. Discord is more Super-Stallion territory.

Well the character I had in mind will writing my first post was Pinkie Pie not Discord.  I totally forget him, shame on me.

Pinkie as the Joker would be good, but then who would be the Mad Hatter?

Since the Mad Hatter role in this story is only a minor one, he could stay the Mad Hatter. Alternatively you could give his role to a background pony. Don’t use a main character. Main characters should get important roles. At least in my opinion.

Or if you want to be really creative you could replace him entirely.  Instead of the Mad Hatter, there would be a pony who thinks that he or she is Starswirl the Bearded or a character from the Hearth’s Warming Eve play.

The reason why I update it without posting any chapters is to upload new versions of old chapters, BTW. Also, then if Pinkie were the Joker then who would be Harley Quinn?

Hmm, while retelling the story is compelling, you should drive to separate yourself from Arkham City. As for the Blueblood argument, well consider this. See how Blueblood acts in the show? Now compare that to how Bruce Wayne acts in some comics. Billionaire playboy dick that everybody hates. Why does he act like that? To throw off suspicion that he is Batman. So kudos on that choice. I got a party to get to, but strive to tell a new story- Arkhoof City is a mystery in itself is it not?

I think Batstallion should be Fancy Pants.  I mean, billionaire-playboy, totally unexpected to be the GODDAMN BATSTALLION.  There's also a background pony named Bruce Mane who looks kinda like Christian Bale... Sorta.  Other than that, I love how it's going so far.  ... Damn.  Definitely wanna play some Arkham City now.  BATMAN Y U NO AUTOLOCK ON THUGS DURING COMBO?!?!

I think Derpy would make a good Harley Quinn.

I could see Spike or Fluttershy being Robin, as well.  This is going to be interesting to watch play out!

Also, I may risk being tortured a la Cupcakes style for this, but I. hate. Derpy. I fucking hate her.

If she is going to pop up( which I highly doubt it), then I would cast her as maybe a doctor, a cop. Zsasz will remain OC for the while.

Also, should I write the side mission plots separately from the main story, or tie them in as I go along?
