What will happen when Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Applejack make their relationships public? As these ponies are tested, will their love grow stronger or will everything come crashing down?
This being a sequel, reading Cloud Nine is highly recommended, but not necessarily required.

Hummm I am hoping that you put out the nest chapter soonish. Shining Armor is going to be an interesting reaction. Also just saying, this whole Celestia situation is going end VERY badly or good. Either way I liked the first story so I am sure this one will be good.

Just curious so I have a question. I understand why the relationship between Pinkie and Fluttershy is not elaborated on or hinted in the first story (since it makes the reveal a climatic and dramatic event) but in this story why do you not have Pinkie and Fluttershy being in the description and the like? Are they just not going to be as important?
Well why doesn't Spike need to know? He's Twilight closest and most supportive companion! He should've been the first to hear about Twilight and Rainbow, yet they're putting it off like his involvement with Twilight's life isn't all that important. And is his inevitable devastation when he hears about Rarity and AJ completely inconsequential? This story reduces him to a meaningless background character who's only purpose is cooking and sending letters.
You were also pretty harsh on the CMC.

I think Twilight should wait until her and RD get married to tell Shining Armor. Then be like "Yeah, I figured since I got to find out about your wife last second, you could find out about mine then as well.".
Seriously excited for this though, Cloud 9 was amazing, and this seems like it will be as well.

I love this story. Its a great story and it contains two of my top three favorite ships!
The train pulls into Canterlot and the six ponies immediately head to the castle. Upon arriving in the throne room they all bow down before Princess Celestia. Taking a moment to bask in their worship of her Celestia finally bids them to rise
And then she asks them the dreaded question.
"Do you like bananas?"
Well that was interesting. I like the idea of a cure, but I think this is all going to go downhill. I bet either
A)They'll all end up with completely different personalities unable to wield the Elements any longer.
B)They'll still be the same ponies and be in love.
Either way, it'll be interesting.
"-- if we succeeded in reversing the elements' effects, you would be returned to the state you were in before you defeated Nightmare Moon"
So basically Celestia is suggesting the mane six relinquish their roles as Element Bearers.
"-- at the absolute worst, you could end up with a different personality."
Should this "side effect" occur, it has a high probability to render said pony's ability to be an Element Bearer inert.
My point is that Celestia is a b**** that would rather see the Elements destroyed then be held by a bunch of filly-foolers.
This was a well made chapter, but i believe that the mane six used the elements only twice. If i remember correctly, the six never actually made it to the elements in their attempt to defeat the changling queen, but were cut off by her minions. Feel free to shed light on the subject and prove me wrong.
Well, as much as I enjoy this story, Infeel like you've gone and shot yourself in the hoof with this element induced romance possibility. You see, while this was previously a ship fic, the different pairings were all great. You could write all about the different going on's of their relationships, with no negative effects. But with this new plot device, they'll either be affected badly, making every event leading up to that moment entirely pointless, and leaving me as the reader entirely unsatisfied, or they'll be completely unaffected making this segment of the story pointless and/or creating an incredibly cliche "love conquers all" victory. You could also have them say yes to the operation only or Celestia to reveal that she was just testing their love, but thay would be cliche as well. Maybe you'll surprise me, but at the moments, I cannot see any benefits to this. I would much rather listen to the likely awkward and amusing conversation between Twi, Dash, and Shining over their relationship then dealing with rather needless angst and intrigue. The best thing you can do at the moment (in my opinion at least) is to just have them say no to the procedure and be done with that. Why ruin your own happiness? I certainly wouldn't risk such a happy relationship, illusion or not.
Anyway, keep up the great work!
I remember reading a story based on this concept; unfortunately, I can't really remember the tile. It was a series of alternative realities where the mane 6 was paired up with each other in all possible ways. I didn't enjoy the concept back then, and I can't say that I enjoy it now.
First of all, I just can't agree with the logic that love, attraction (or any other feeling) is not real just because the inducing factor can be pinpointed; for example, being in danger and/or scared make you feel attracted to the person that you shared the experience with (Misattribution of arousal). That doesn't mean that heroes in adventure romance stories should feel bad for falling for each other because it was probably induced by the adventure itself and not some intrinsic properties of the heroes.
Secondly, the Elements of Harmony most certainly changed the lives of the mane 6 in many more ways than just being in love with each other, but they wouldn't claim that their lives are all lies because they would be different if not for the elements.
Furthermore, there is more to their feelings than the Elements themselves as they all chose exactly one partner within their small circle. If there wasn't any additional factors they should form a love hexagon or something. Granted that this arguments is easily countered if you decide that certain elements tend to connect with some more than others.
To summarize, I don't think that there is any feasible reason for them to go through the procedure.
All that being said, I look forward to seeing how you will portray the thoughts of all the mane 6 when faced with this situation.
