Amazing - while a bit predictable as a "Celestia/Luna deals with immortality" story, plot isn't necessarily the point. I got out of bed just to favorite this :D

My favorite stories are almost always ones with Luna and this is the best Luna story I've ever read.  The ending did a mix of making me sad and also sending shivers down my back which rarely happens when I'm reading a fanfic.

You know what? People keep making jokes about rainbow being shipped with everything and the kitchen sink (seriously I've read a sinkxdash fic)but this is the 1st lunaxdash fic...and boy was it good

While this was not in depth with the shipping, it still hit like a freight train. That and I'm crying my eyes out from my own memories of the one I knew that had the time I spent with her be worth every second.

Loved it with my heart and soul.

This is a fantastic take on Luna and her reasoning for Nightmare Moon. While there are a few liberties taken I must admit the tale you wove is very sweet. I also firmly believe that Luna must be The Seductress of the Night to secure the love of two "awesome" pegasus.

Damn it. I try to go to bed and then reread this story and now I'm tearing up and there's no way I'm sleeping.... Awesome story even after like the third time I've read it. Props Script.

So there actually are other Ships with Luna even though TwiLuna is my OTP, I am intruged by other Luna Ships and even though JJ makes Lunerpy extremely cute I just can't find any Stories on it.

a very heartwarming and bittersweet tale. Although, I feel as though the backstory on Luna's other love kinda stole the rest of the story's thunder as a LunaDash ship. Nonetheless, I loved the story. IT SHALL BE FAVE'D

"Imprisoned" was just me taking liberty with the extension of the word caught's meaning. I mean her eyes weren't just caught by Streak's figure, they were actually "locked" so to speak.

Wow. That was good. It's a nice iteration on the idea of the Princesses dealing with immortality. The spin on the concept of Nightmare Moon was interesting. And by Luna! The feels! Oh gosh, the feels! This actually got me a tad misty-eyed in a few places, especially with the last presentation of the phrase, "Worth every second".

Well executed. Not much complaint from me, as far as grammar goes. Overall, well done.

Excellent story sir, dealing with the immortality thing always sucks. Which makes romances with those characters very tragic. Next up with who Luna will ship with, how about the Doctor?

I've seen that, paraphrased and rephrased, in plenty of stories, but it never gets old. Really gives you perspective.

Wonderful story. The writing is great and the plot between RD and Luna is actually believable. If I had to point out a flaw, I'd say the flashback was a little rushed - from a nervous meeting to kissing in bed in the span of a few hours? It doesn't quite have enough build-up. Still, it's a minor thing, and this story earns my like and favourite.

This was a beautiful story!!  The ending fit perfectly, and shows Rainbow fulfills her loyalty, even in death, by being a rainbow in the dark.

Edit: Oh my gawd that story was really freakin sad manly tears were shed while reading the story.

I'm not going to pretend that the end wasn't predictable, and that all the romantic interactions didn't felt rushed, and that Luna didn't leap to her solution near the end way too fast for my liking. Because all of those things are true.

Regardless of those points, though, you got the emotion through damn-near to perfect. It's well-written and packed with feeling, I liked your re-imagining of our knowledge from the show's canon, and it was a great read despite the issues I instinctively found myself raising.

That's essentially the best praise I think anything can be given: eliciting enjoyment despite deficiencies. For me, you managed that with aplomb. Well done.

Thank you for the in-depth review. I'm still an amateur writer, so I figured working on the emotional plane would provide decent practice and help me learn "reader manipulation" for when I later experiment with more moral/societal/philosophical pieces. To be honest, I think this story reflects my maturity pretty accurately as well. It shows that, while I may have all the "ability" necessary to create a coherent composition, I still lack the experience necessary to produce something with true substance and character.

In other words: yeah, I'm friggin' naive.
