This caught my interest.  First story I seen with Scootaloo but no RD.

Interesting start... I feel like the whole thing was a bit rushed, but not too bad in the end. Looking foward to more.

When i say another one, im refering to the 'Orphan/Abused-by-her-parents' Variation of Scootaloo. Although I dont know which one you're doing, as I said before, I am very curious to see where this one goes. I dont mean anything in terms of offense, I was just speaking my mind because I see alot of the,... ^^;;;

I REALLY like this story, it breaks us away from the usual Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash stories; we never get enough of Scootaloo interacting with other ponies (there was that one story featuring her and Derpy, and I LOVED it). I REALLY can't wait for your next update and can only hope there will be no tears as I continue reading this story.

I'll take as long as it takes to make a chapter.  I do more stuff in my life than write, and I try to do a good job on it.  I'll have the chapter out when I think it's ready.

So far this feels pretty rushed, but frankly we've all heard this story a million times, so I don't mind getting the necessary cliche out of the way if it means getting to a take on this I haven't seen before.

Of course, Apple Bloom. That's what you get for hearing like, what, part of it? People are so easily to assume something before they hear the whole thing. its annoying

Just wondering, is this still being written? Will anything further come from it, or have you stopped this?

Considering my last entry was a mere 4 days ago, I think it should be obvious.  I may not get chapters out as fast as some writers, but I have every intention of finishing.

That last chapter took way longer than it should have.  Part of the problem was that I had about half a dozen ways I could have taken it about halfway through.

One idea had Apple Bloom showing up at the scoolhouse while Scootaloo was swinging, and the two on them make up and become friends again.  Another idea included more of what Cheerilee and Applejack said while Scootaloo was outside.

This chapter also had more talking than pretty much any other chapter I wrote, but I thought it was also the best way to introduce more of Scootaloo's past, which Scootaloo told Cheerilee before Applejack got there.

Anyway, hope you enjoy.

Why not?  The purpose of a cliffhanger is to make you want the next part that much more to see it resolved.  Guessing from the GIF, it did it's job.

As a reader I HATE cliffhangers, as a writer I've discovered they're fun to write and even more fun to hear people rage about

I see what you did there, Scootalove with Cheerilee. Now think back to G3 and who was Scootaloo's sister again? That's right Cheerilee.

Scootaloo's fanon of being an orphan who lives in the CMC clubhouse makes One Bad Apple kinda depressing when Babs stole the clubhouse from the CMC

That ending was great, I didn't know I was capable of such feels I'm glad it had a happy ending, and Scootaloo being adopted is probably something they could actually work in to the show to acknowledge that she's an orphan, but still keep it light enough. We had subtle confirmation about AJ's dead parents, maybe now we'll get some on Scootaloo's situation.

Kind of an abrupt ending, but otherwise a really good story. Well done.
