Interesting prologue, apparently daybreaker rests within Celestia's subconscious and when he patience is tested enough, it starts to break through. This has piqued my interest and I will be looking forward to future chapters

To be fair, most of Equestria's recent crises have been one- or two-day affairs. Between Luna's day shift and the aftermath the next day, then Celestia catching fire in her sleep, the guards are somewhat justified in thinking/hoping the worst might be over.
They're wrong, of course. I'm just getting started.
If it gets as bad as it Might, I really pity Twilight on having to face down Daybreaker.

Heh, sorry. Motivation issues. The person I asked for constructive criticism practically wrote me a dissertation. With how long it's been and how hard it's been to get back to writing with those edits hanging over my head, I'm thinking of just banging out the rest of what I have and not bothering with revisions.
