Hey, that wasn't so bad.  Second person is a bit clunky for me to read, but never-the-less, I like the story.  ((Goes back to look at tags))  Romance tag...  This is slightly pertaining to my interests.  And if you happen to want an extra editor, I am always on hand with nothing to do.

I'm not usually a fan of second person fics, BUT I do really like this.  Keep it up.  So is it like some interdimensional portal to Equestria or is it something else?  I've read a few fics where Earth and Equestria are connected with them really big portals.  Anyways, keep up the good work.

I like the story but it is quit similar to that one about Rainbow Dash. Even the whole helping with the laptop and making a facebook. I'd be careful not to borrow too much from that story if I were you.

Man, ponies on Earth usually just isn't my thing, but i like this. Dialog is good, and it's really nice that you include things like Drew showing Flutters how Skype and Facebook works. It just feels natural, and I can see it being like that if Equestria and Earth actually was connected.

Hmm, I love this idea. Personally, I think this would have worked in the first person better, as the protagonist now has a name, which means second person is nullified, since the reader can't substitute himself for the protagonist. But whatever works for you, man.

Good story but these 2nd person fics always bother me a little. especially when the 'me' in the story has a name and personality.

I'm not usually a fan of 2nd person stories, but this seems all right. The "you"s could almost be just swapped for "I"s to make it legit 1st person. *follows with caution*

He's likely referring to the fact that the first few chapters of 'the roommate' are similar, in that they involve rainbow dash learning to use a computer. It's still definitely the first logical step for any transfer student, so as long as your careful to differentiate from here on out I don't see it being all that problematic. The roommate was slice of life with a human female protagonist and no romantic undertones, and judging from the tags you have something different in mind. Try to play up your unique points, such conversations with the friend going to school in equestria. That's an element which is entirely your own and a comedy gold mine. Also, you'd likely head off some of the inevitable flak if you wrote an 'in part inspired/influenced by' segment in the description, but that's up to you.  

Anyone else giving the author crap about similarities to 'the roommate' needs to go back and read the author notes at the end of that story. She welcomed the idea of her idea being proliferated by other people at other universities.

Will be watching to see where you go with this

Alrighty, I'm gonna start this by saying I usually hate stories in which Humans and Ponies share the world.

That being said, I'm enjoying this story. Not really sure why.

It's got a fairly high standard of writing, reasonable premise (although not entirely unique, I'm fairly sure I've seen this with other Ponies about 4 or 5 times now) and a nice sprinkling of D'aww.

The tension between Humans about Ponies and Bestiality is a nice touch. Reminds me a lot of Crowley's story (except without the gratuitous horse-sex ). And everyone has a Crazy Racist Uncle, so there's another little thing I like.

Can't really comment on the shipping elements yet, as we've yet to see them, but I've got high hopes.
