Two orphaned siblings living in a war-torn world, forced to suffer through the evils of humanity. When they are just starting to settle in to the life they’ve been forced to live, they are stripped from their cold and desolate home. They arrive in a world of peace and love, a place completely opposite to the one they once knew. Their only wish is to never have to return to the hell they’ve been able to leave.
Rated Teen for slight violence and swearing.
Things that I see wrong with this,
1. In the show, the ponies are known for there paronoia and quick distrused, Look at zecora! What i'm trying to say is the ponies could have reaced more ehh.....scared because of there nature.
2. Malcolm should not trust them that quick.
Besides that the story is great!

As for Mac, you gotta realize that he just wants his sister to be happy, so if playing along with the talking animals will do that, he's willing to take the risk...for now. 
Just give it a chapter or two, I promise everything will come to light.

Don't you think after the events of "Bridle Gossip" that word would have spread about Zecora not being 'evil' and how not to judge someone without getting to know them first? In that case, then it would make sense for the citizens of Ponyville to be receptive to some new creatures.

I was determined to finish another story that I was almost at the end of, so I could stop worrying about it altogether. 
When I first thought up this story, every detail was so vivid and clear. It was so heartwarming for me, that I had to write it. I want the story to be perfectly fit to my original vision. That takes time. 
I know what you're all thinking:
1) "Holy buck, an update less than a week later?! Who are you and what have you done with the real author!?"

Though I find violence absolutely fine, I prefer making this suitable for slightly less-mature audiences.
And I don't care much for shipping fanfictions, unless the shipping is canon (in any show/game, not just MLP).
*A/N: This chapter's flashback is by far the saddest thing I've ever written. It was sad for me when I thought it out and wrote it. Maybe I'm just a sensitive aesthete, but it was sad. You've been warned.As always, feedback is really appreciated!*
This is a lie, that flashback wasn't very sad at all...
Short chapter is short.

A serial killer would bring more corruption than an elementary teacher, so on and so forth.
