The inspiration for this story was around the time of Ray Bradbury's death, for reference.

Not a big Kevin Kosner fan (Please correct me if I spelled that wrong.), but this seems interesting.

The title is an obvious priority of "The Butterfly Effect".

I'm left with an "interesting" for this.  I liked it, but I had to stop a few times just to let my mind rest.

After whatever revisions you may need, if this doesn't make it on EqD, then there is something seriously wrong with the world. Great to see a new story thats not troll/meta and is quality for the length it is!

This story was... Awesome!

I discovered after writing this that there are least 4-5 works (written and drawn) titled "the Fluttershy Effect" across various pony art-sharing boards.  I wouldn't call this "the original", just *my* take on a story titled this way

"Fluttershy only nodded, her muzzle now encased in a soft velvet fabric cage to prevent her from talking."

BAD mental image, GO AWAY, and come back when I'm not busy reading this.

First I was like when Fluttershy first felt the shiver, then I was all when Spike went missing, then I was when Discord was revealed, then came when Fluttershy was , then everypony came back and I was like , then Discord got caught trolling and I was all , then Pinkie Pie came back and I was , is this coming full circle? Then the hill and Fluttershy's confidence was like , then Pinkie Troll made me again.

I loved this. I would only add in Fluttershy 'testing' her theory when Twilight comes back. (but it's definitely ooc for her)

"I don't like Twilight not being here."

"Woah, Fluttershy you figured it out!"

"Hmmmm, I don't like Twilight being here."

"What are you do-"

"I don't like Twilight not being here."

"What the hay was that?"

"I had to test it."

All I could think when I realized what was going on:

Fluttershy can make things she's afraid of disappear?

But she's afraid of...

Oh.

Oh .

We're doomed.

This story is full of pure Cloudsdale Grade-A liquid genius.

Well, that was certainly an interesting story all right. Of course only Discord could be behind something so chaotic. :P

That was awesome. So bloody awesome.

Not a bad story at all. Definitely an original idea, and it was very interesting and well presented.

One thing though, it seems that right after AJ appeared and Twi mentioned that Spike was missing, AJ seemed to know that Spike was a dragon, despite not knowing who Spike is, or what a dragon was.

7 weeks and now this fic is at Equestria Daily.

That fic you were referencing were posted at EqD May 9th 2011.

Then, technically, that fic is "more" "original" than this. ( I still haven't read this fic)

That fic is about Twilight gets sent back in time (to the time when she got her cutie mark) after a magic duel with Trixie.

She meets the scientist Quantom Leap who sends her back to the future. He, however, does something he wouldn't have done otherwise, he leaves his house and scares away some colts bullying Fluttershy, effectively preventing the Sonic Raiboom from happening.

Twilight returns to a world totally different than the the one she left, she then goes on a epic quest to see what became of her friends.

This is a truly great fic. It truly FEELS like an episode, it's wonderfully imaginative, and skillfully written.

Also, why aren't any of the Fluttershy emotes happy? 4 are sad and one israge.

Finally read it. Very interesting concept. I'm tempted to still it and use as Game master. I don't know if it fits better Call of Cthulhu or D&D but I'm ready to experiment. Very good fic - most adventure ones are really losing MLP spirit in my eyes but this one passes with the flying colors. Good job.
