When I saw the picture as I scrolled down the front page, I thought it was a Hutt from Star Wars. On closer inspection, it clearly is not - even the Hutts aren't that ugly. I've no idea what a sload is, but daaaaaaamn.

As I said, I think it would be funny as hell to see what happens when a creature this ugly is introduced into a world where everything is either cute, cuddly, beautiful or attractive at least in an animal sense. For example, you can admire the beauty of a bird, large cat, or a finely groomed horse without falling in love or lust with the thing.

Can anyone honestly say they admire a sload's looks? In any shape or form? ...didn't think so. And in case you're curious, left a description of Sload's at the Author Notes at the bottom.

I looked up sload on the ES wiki, it didn't mention which ones sloads are in, and there is no mention of sload in Skyrim, besides a ship called the dainty sload.

Sloads are an extremely private race, as such the ones who do leave their half-submerged island-continent tend to lay very low and live solitary lives. The most famous one was N'Gasta a powerful Necromancer, something common in their race, and was featured in the Elder Scrolls game: Redguard. I believe there a few videos of Redguard hanging about online, particularly Youtube. If you care to check on such things. *shrug*

Excellent, you resolved your first conflict without killing anyone! Too many Pieces just kill people willy-nilly with no second thought, it's good to see someone beat an enemy without resorting to lethal force.
