This was loosely based on a dream I had. I just had to make a few adaptations.

Something completely related: Gustav Mahler's Quartet for Strings and Piano in A Minor.

Everyone should offer a round of applause to Owlor in homage to all the brain cells he lost by having to read this [strike]shit[/strike] [strike]story[/strike] [strike]dream[/strike] [strike]tale[/strike] thing.

Lucy! You, almost, kinda, very nearly broke the dam that are my tear ducts!

I...I love it. It's sad. It's tragic. It's...amazing.

...oh

oh, god

just

what the fuck, man

I can make spin off?

886902 I know that feel. After all, I wrote it.

886974 You may as long as it is credited.

Ze magics!

886988

*insane look and maniacal chuckle* Gooood....goood.....

886988

I think this might finally be the spark to get me writing fucked-up fanfics of my own. God knows I have a shitton of ideas in here.

but seriously, what kind of fucking monster... deeeaugh

That was freaking dark. Good work.

...2:00 am ...
Fuk u man.
Fuk u.

Oh my gosh, heartbreaking. I was never one much for Trixie, but I swear this fandom could anything likeable, especially after this. What a horrid, scary, touching story. :c

What does "Hörst du Schwesterherz" mean?

*ahem* after reading the story, halfway, or maybe a quarter way, I ahve to say. Your impression of a german accent is horrible.

We have a lot zu talk about.

No! Bad Lucefer! (thats what I'm gonna call you int his small instance)

When speaking with a german accent, all "THs" are pronounced and written with a "ZH". When it is a word like, Wonderful, it woudl really be Vunderbar, but thats a bad example. All Ws are replaved with Vs, never Ts, only Vs. Never replace a T with a Z either. That jsut makes it sound worse.

4:00 am
reading this after i finish i look behind me to see a freak out trixie. my reaction to the story and to trixie O_O help

885632 I'm having issues translating the last sentence. Can you hear it , dear sister? Something like that.Been years since I studied german.

holy crap, i have never been so angry in my life.

I was "enjoying" this right up to the part when it went all sexual/abusive.
The start was okay, but once I realised what was going on this story just plumetted and I just wanted it to be over.:fluttershbad:

887041 Glad to hear it.

887171 Muzzled cameo FTW!

887367 True that. I didn't write THE accent. I wrote it as if she was speaking in german (except for the W -> /v/). I am well aware of the Z -> /ts/
I remember a bit from my classes.

887643 Wai- what?

888470 Honestly, I don't blame you.

887968>>887361
Can you hear your dear sister?

887968
888488

Hörst ttranslates to hear, du to you, and Schwesterherz to thanks sis. Sounds weird at first, but in the german language, du can account for you, your, or any form of the word in account to possession of this person you are talking to.

A better translation, in my opinion, would be: Hearest thou thanks sis?

like I said in my house is freak out trixe

888488 I was close. I knew Schwesterhertz was dear sister, as hertz at the end of a word usually implied endearment, but the way it was phrased made it difficult to accurately translate.

889460 That literally makes no sense. And that must be a google translation or something, cause of the reason stated above. That entire phrase makes no sense when translated your way. Plus, german never literally translates well.

888488 And, now that I think about it, that one doesn't make much sense either. It doesnt give any kind of possession to Schwesterhertz which would completely remove the your. Hörst du deine Schwesterhertz? would translate more into what you said.

890283

Fuck google, I have a dictionary. Believe me, It means over about fifty phrases.

888488

I has finished story!

890326 Dictionary translations are the exact same as google translations. All you get is the literal meaning of the words and not the implied meanings. If you were to truly, literally, translate Schwesterhertz by breaking it down into its two root words, you'd get schwester, which is sister, and hertz, which is heart. So, it would, quite literally, mean sister of my heart, or dear sister. That's the same reason tourists always look stupid when they go to other countries and translate out of a English to XXX dictionary.

890361

Hmm...Allow me to further explain what I am saying...Germa words have several meanings, just like english, only more defined and complex. A good example is mein and du, which both mean more thna one word when translated to english. And believe me when I say this; google ain't got shit on my dictionary. I looked up phrases from google translate and people said my german was shitty. I moved on to a dictionary, learned more, and they said my german was a lot better. They being my friends, one especially, who can hold a fluent conversation with a german man/woman/wtf ever. Lately I haven't had a german - english dictionary. Instead I've been using something similar to it. translation.babylon.com/german/to-english/ It's the same thing as my dictionary. It gives mroe than one word, and phrases it can be used in. It's jsut a tad bit harder to use than my dictionary.

Yeah my eyes are bleeding with sadness now. I'll never see Photo Finish the same again. :raritydespair:

Dude...
completely wrong place to have this fic.
please remove it from Heartbreaking because this focuses on some dark stuff.

902778 Remove from where? There is no heartbreaking tag on FiMFiction.
What are you talking about? :rainbowhuh:

I read the entire thing in the voice of a certain Australian Assassin, and I can assure you that I had quite the blast.
It's well-written and luckily not too graphic.

903705
well in the sad group it was in the heartbreaking folder, so I thought you put it there.
Sorry.

911757 Ah, I see. But no, I didn't place it there. I'm part of two groups only; One-Shots and High Quality Fictions.

911764
Oh... well sorry then.
still an interesting story though.

911778 Feel free to remove it from your group if it is breaking the rules, though.

Just a little thing I thought of while reading and felt like sharing.

920508

And bad ways to add drama to a story! The first four are also the fifth.

Except this isn't a story. This is a dream in a story form.

921138 I know. I just felt like letting that out in the most ridiculous way possible. How do you do the quote thing?

924934

Ancient Chinese secret. :3

925415 You've done that before, with embedding Youtube videos, I believe.

Wow... :raritycry: Such a sad story! Really casts Trixie in a whole new light, even if this is supposed to be a result of after she came to Ponyville and told tall tales of her amazing feats of magic. And was I the only one who may have initially thought that when you described Photo Finish's cutie mark, that it might've been Twilight disguising herself as Photo Finish? Though I threw that away quickly, as not sure why Twilight would have reason to do such a thing to Trixie and her foal. But whether it was her or not, probably never going to look at Photo Finish the same way in a story or the show again, either way.

Anyway, good story that really managed to tug at the heart, and I'll maybe be looking forward to more, if any are planned!

no you cant end it so sad :pinkiesad2::fluttercry::applecry:

I'm very impressed by the reactions to this, over 40 votes, with an almost even split between likes/dislikes, nice job! :ajsmug: Fun fact, I actually beta-read this one, wanna know how I got trough it with my sanity intact?:pinkiecrazy: This! :pinkiehappy:

957531
The mixed feelings were totally expected. :rainbowlaugh:

Holy shit....:raritydespair:

Dear Celestia, what is this, A Serbian Film with ponies? All that's missing is the implied nercophilia. I would post a cute pic of a filly asking "Why would you do that?", but I'm afraid of what will happen to the filly. So instead:

1555419 This, dear concerned reader, is an adaptation of a nightmare I had. Read the first comment. Follow the link. :raritywink:

I thought it was great. It was dark and strongly accented but not a purely a fic made for shock value. Went a little heavy with the rape scene, but it was a story mechanism and helped purpose the ending. The double twists at the end I really enjoyed. Poor Trixie, she made a bad decision and lost her mind. I think we all have made decisions we regretted but this is a magnified example. Great job.
