Very interesting. I like the fact that you indicate where the music should be stopped, I hate it when authors add music but don't do anything else regarding it. Anyway, I like the story so far, and can't wait for more.

I personally prefer second-pony stories to others, if only because of their unique challenges and such.

The music is actually a very nice and satisfying touch. I'm not gonna lie, I was rather doubtful the idea would work, but it seems to me that you've got it so far. But tell me -- if you successfully win this bet, what is your friend going to do in return? Pay you money, watch ponies, what?

Haven't read it yet but the song idea is quite original.

You know, the music-within-stories idea can actually work spectacularly; if you haven't given it a look, Sweetie's Mansion (http://www.fimfiction.net/story/7526/Sweetie%27s-Mansion) also utilizes soundtracks from the game it's crossed-over with. Definitely worth a read.

Music really added to the mood of the story.  Makes it a very immersive story as it has both misic and is second person narrative.

Again with the "everyone".  Not trying to sound angry or anything but I tend to read the mane 6's dialogue in their voices and that sort of kills it for me.

Anyway, still a great story.

Definitely put out another chapter!  When I put myself in the story, I will sooo beat Thunderlane's flank.

This reminds me so much of The Hunger Games. I also love what you're doing with making the experience even more enjoyable by adding in (optional) music. I think you need to give both yourself and your friend a medal each, and not one of those flimsy bronze medals, but a big gold, or even platinum one! Yeah, awesome.

Finally started reading this one.  Only one chapter in and I'm hooked.

Wow, I'm impressed! I usually dot like second person fics. When the author says, "You did this," I can't help but think, "No I didn't!" But I really liked this. The action was gripping, very descriptive, and the jokes were genuinely funny. Though, the "20% cooler" meme broke the immersion for me. Not your fault, it's just been done to death. Though if you had used the "10 seconds flat" with it, I'd have had to reach into my computer and slap you.

This is really good! Thumbs up, tracked, and a mustache for you, good sir!
