Someone once told me that if you can truly see the good in a person, then you can also see the true darkness in that person. Those are just a few of the words that I live by. But sometimes, there isn't any light to be seen in a person. When you can't see the light in a person, it just means that the darkness has overpowered the good in them. When Trixie Lulamoon discovers the instrument of her revenge, the Alicorn Amulet, the darkness in her truly overtakes the light, even if there was almost none to begin with. With one of the most powerful of all of Equestria's magical trinkets in her possession, how will those who have laughed in her face fare? My guess... is not very well.

Trinkets is a psychological look into the character Trixie shortly before the episode Magic Duel takes place. I think how attached she becomes to the amulet really shows just how easy it is to becomes lost in the darkness.

Well, that was interesting. Seeing Trixie's emotions zero in on hatred towards Twilight Sparkle was riveting to read. I feel you might have to indicate that this deviates a little from canon, if only because I can't see this Trixie with such strong anger able to keep herself from simply tearing right into Twilight as soon as she sees her again (as opposed to taking a little longer route and humiliating Twilight by Trixie showing off her own magic through the course of several spells).

Still, I guess that would give Zecora the impetus to train Twilight, knowing there is a mare who has gone crazy and needs to be freed from the artifact that has possessed her.

I could practically feel the anger seep from my pours

Should be 'pores'.

Hey man, I want to let you know that you responding to my first story the way you did was something that I really appreciate, and I thank you for taking the time to read my chapter! And thanks for the criticism, it will help me to become a better writer overall. I'll go and make the necessary changes!
