I liked it until the letter as I think AJ's reaction was a little over the top. It smoothed up again after AJ left and Fluttershy got over her shock.
7984863 Well, I wrote that part while thinking that Applejack has been in love with Fluttershy for a long time, so... yeah, she was happy.

This is a really nice piece of work. The final scene of Chapter 5 is pure emotion and joy. I rather enjoyed the take of the story in which Applejack was the more emotionally-vulnerable one, because it's more often Fluttershy cast in that role. To bring out such as unusual aspect of Applejack whilst keeping her believably in-character was quite a feat. Thank you!
