Prologue: The Painful Past

How could this have happened? Why did it have to happen this soon? Why did it have to happen to me? The girl that I loved for all these years, who I swore I would always be with… is gone. Even worse, I’ve pushed away the very friends I’ve been able to rely on most. How could my life just fall apart like this? Why has it turned into this living hell that I’m stuck having to face all on my own? But, maybe I’m getting ahead of myself? Maybe I should go back to what caused this tragedy that I’m stuck with in the now? It all started a few years ago when life was still kind to me.
